Like the majority of pubs in Bedminster, this one is pretty ‘local’. With its drab exterior and net curtains, it makes no effort to appeal to passers by. However, the pub is not without charm inside, boasting comfortable sofas and a popular pool table. The usual (for this type of pub) selection of ales, stouts and ciders are also on sale here, along with a full and reasonably priced bar.
Situated in the heart of East Street’s thriving community, The Old Globe has a steady flow of customers throughout the day and into the evening. And Friday evening is the pub’s Live Music night, a popular affair with the locals. Tempted?
