New and improved, forget the old spit and sawdust dive this place has got seriously better and with a lovely courtyeard garden I could easily come here a lot more! I have only given 3 stars so far simply because I have only been in there for ½ hour and I had a very nice pint of cider but no more than that to judge it on — watch this space!

The Ropewalk is a small pub at the bottom of Bedminster Parade. It has two rooms a bar area and a lounge/​seating area. This pub gets fairly busy in the evening I prefer it to some of the other Bedminster pubs which can be a bit dodgy.
The Ropewalk sells fairly cheap drinks and has been quite recently refurbished. The bar staff were friendly, when I came here they rang out of half-​pint glasses early in the evening which seemed a bit strange.
I wouldn’t normally have much reason to go to the Ropewalk as its not that near to other good pubs or restaurants in Bristol but its not a bad place for a quick drink.
