A lovely café which has a good selection of food. The staff are always lovely and they do late evening openings on Friday and Saturday which is BYO bottle.

Really loved the food. Had a starter of lentil and tomato soup which was delicious, and had a perfectly cooked steak with chips, onion rings and peppercorn sauce. We all had a fantastic evening and the staff were very nice. I would come here again, excellent restaurant.

Really great food — had a sharing bread platter for a starter & the veggie burger main on my most recent trip to Graffitti. Have had a few breakfasts, lunches & dinners here & it’s always been lovely. BYO for late openings on a Friday & Saturday and I’ve always found the staff pleasant & service good. Can be extremely busy during the day but quieter on Friday & Saturday nights when I’ve been in Graffitti — but I think people just maybe aren’t aware it opens late on Friday & Saturday nights…

Feeling a little tired or hungover, don’t fancy putting your face on, you’ll feel a whole lot better after a visit to Graffitti. Cosy and friendly, you will get one of the best breakfasts on the block and the staff are so lovely they’ll never judge you for having a Coke and a pot of tea with your fry. They know the score. ;-) There is always a good mix of customers from suits to students with a good buzz, the reason for which is the quality, homely food at really good prices. We’ve even ventured in after dark with a couple of bottles of wine(it is BYO) and the burgers were beautiful in the candlelight. Considering there is a good deal of competition in the area, the fact that this place continues to pack them in every week after 26 years says it all. In fact, I’m getting pretty hungry just thinking about it… joy.

Nice place this. I dont know why I don’t go more often, just dont seem to remember it, which is really unfair as its very decent to eat in indeed. The staff are friendly and helpful,(maybe could be a touch warmer) and the ambience pretty chilled and unique. The menu is smaller than you would get in bigger restaurants proprotionaly to how much smaller the establisment is compared to most kitchens. This however shouldn’t put you off as the food is excellent. But it really should get praise for what is on the menu and not chastised for what isn’t. The dishes seem to have had some genuine thought in them and pretty much everyting will have a twist on it unique to Grafitti. Well worth a visit.

Generally does good food. The menu is not extensive but I like that. I like to think it means they use their resources to focus on making what they make really well. Their breakfasts are generally very good. The service is spectacularly bad though. You have to wait to be seated which is not a problem but how you are greeted is. I have been to the place many times since 2004 and every time I’ve been the service has been woeful. You’re grunted at and made to wait too long for your food. The people serving seem to be graduates of the Roy Keane School Of Charm. You may ask; why go back? Convenience and the food is not bad is the answer. Everyone I know who has been to it agrees with me that the food is decent but the service really lets the place down. If they trained their staff and were a bit more professional it could be one of the best places on the Ormeau Road.

This café is well named. It’s not part of the establishment but it is widely accepted and praised. It has a rebellious feel but not in a revolutionary way, more just for kicks. The tables are old singer sewing machines, the walls are adorned with the work of local artists and newspapers and magazines are strewn about with abandon. Everything about the place is relaxed and relaxing. The food is relatively inexpensive, so it is fine for the price. If you are a bit delicate the day after an unruly evening, this is the place on the Ormeau Road to come for a greasy fry. I’ve heard it said that the meat to bread ratio is a bit too bread leaning, and it’s pricey if you want to add mushrooms, beans or perhaps a hash brown to your fry, but regardless you’ll come away a happier soul after this feed.

Our choir booked a table for 10 people at this restaurant for a leaving do on a Thursday night. We found it to be first class. Great value for money and the service couldn’t have been better. Value for money is simply unbeatable. It is bring your own bottle and with a first class off licence just across the street(the Vineyard — one of the best off licenses in Belfast) you can just pop across the street and buy a fab bottle of plonk for half restaurant prices… They cook everything fresh and use local ingredients so it takes that wee bit longer for things to arrive, but I personally prefer to wait for freshly cooked food. I had a really juicy steak, and a fabulous greek salad, topped off with a gooey Eton Mess, a real masterpiece. All for about 20 quid a head. Our choir now considers Graffitti to be our«local» restaurant and we will definitely use it again and again. Thanks guys for a really special night

I popped in here to meet someone for lunch on a weekday a couple of months ago. I had never heard of it before so had no idea what to expect before arriving. I had a quick glance at their website(while looking for their address) before I set off, and was surprised to see the statement«Menus have been carefully prepared to suit most tastes. We would therefore advise you not to deviate from it, as refusal often offends» To me this screamed out that the food was, in fact, not fresh, but pre-made(why else could they not accommodate from deviations from the menu, everywhere else can?) Anyhow, the plans were made, so off I went, and was pleasantly surprised. The lunch menu was varied, and there were plenty of things on offer that appealed to me, I ended up going for the soup and sandwich combo, and I was wrong, it was very fresh! For this and my drink it came to around £8 which wasn’t bad at all. Oh, and if you happen to be eating there in the evenings, it’s BYOB.

I called in here for a spot of lunch while I was waiting to visit a friend. I called in on my own at about 12.45 on a Wednesday and found the place to be heaving. I ended up sitting outside as, although there were spare spaces to sit at, I would have had to share with other people and I’m a bit of a weirdo when it comes to that. I ordered soup of the day and had to wait a little while for it to arrive. It was very hot and tasty vegetable — one of the better ones I have had recently as it had flavour and wasn’t just warmed up vegetable stock! The bread that came with it was nice too but the thing about soup and bread is that i’m a dipper and one slice is never enough! I can’t really give this place a rave review — it is middle of the road. The food is good but the café is very small and feel cramped. The food isn’t expensive but its not cheap either. I think it is the kind of place that looks great from the outside with all the pink paint and retro décor but really it isn’t offering anything different from any other café in the area.

I popped in here today for a bit of a late breakfast as I seen on the menu outside that they served breakfast all day. Its a really small café with loads of little chandeliers, blackboards and wallpaper on one wall… not quite chic but it works OK. The place was absolutely buzzing and I managed to get one of the last two tables left.(both of which sat 4) The menu was your bog standard and the fry was priced at £5.50. A bit steep but I figured it must be good if they place is packed. It came with mushrooms(which I hate) and couldn’t change as they specify on the menu that changes to make a request will be denied so I figured I’d eat around them(lazy cook?) I also noticed that my £5.50 wasn’t enough to cover the cost of toast £1.50 extra and beans £1 extra or tea £2…so for a breakfast I was out a tenner and to be honest it was nothing special for the price. Also, a gentleman came in and they wouldn’t let him sit on the last 4 seater table as he was alone and were going to make him wait for a two seater(seriously?!) and he asked if he could share my table, which I didn’t mind but I thought this was a bit strange! Not a bad place but probably wont be back for breakfast again anytime soon, especially when there’s Maggie Mays or The Other Place not far away.
