Price is right for the excellent food quality. I especially like the ale choices as well as the wine list. Both are extensive. The setting is intimate and the staff is very friendly and helpful. One of our favorite meals in Bath.

Petit pub un peu à l’écart du centre de Bath. La déco est charmante, le cadre est convivial.
Le menu est appétissant, les portions étaient un peu décevantes (mini pièce de saumon à ce prix on en attendait un peu plus). Cependant, le goût est au rendez-​vous et au final on est bien loin des clichés français sur la nourriture anglaise!

one of the best kept secrets in Bath. Everything about this place is spot on. Wonderful food, excellent range of drinks and extremely friendly and attentive staff. Was almost tempted to write a bad review to keep it a little more exclusive but humanity overcame selfishness. If you are visiting Bath, you must try this place you wont regret it.

Even the gastro pubs in Bath are lovely. Especially when no-​one was eating here, just enjoying drinks. Tables reserved for later bode ill though. They allow dogs too apparently… not sure that is wise with posh grub around!
From the 2 previously unknown to me real Ales, I selected Tunnel vision, which made for a very nice beer.

Fantastic feel to this tiny pub, which also has a downstairs snug with some additional seating.
Very high quality food which has been praised in the national press.
Beer is excellent as well as the spirits collection. Several interesting real ales on tap.
A must vist.
