Had takeaways from here with the family after a long day moving house. The 4 curries we had were all quite nice and well spiced. Overall seems a good option to satisfy that craving for a good curry & naan in the east of Auckland. Will be back.

The large brass door seems so mystical, you’d think it was a doorway to Narnia. Instead, it’s a warm welcoming into one of the best Indian experiences in Auckland.
Boasting enormous, high ceilings, a relaxing fountain and happy Bollywood tunes, it’s hard not to get up and dance around the restaurant. Yet the waft of delicious herbs and spices soon brings you back to thinking about your empty stomach. The Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken dishes are some of the best I’ve had, with the mild providing enough kick for most tasters. For the more adventurous, Punjabi goes all the way to Indian Hot. That’s sure to help you remember the experience for a few days, as you’ll taste nothing else but Rogan Josh!
