We spent the afternoon here chilling out on their comfortable lounge chairs right on the ocean. Super friendly service, ridiculous guacamole, and they have a shower by the bathroom which is great after a dip in the ocean. Prices are slightly higher by Mexican standards, but still an amazing deal for us gringos.

Friendly staff great food what an awesome fine I’m a total tourist and have a pretty high Standard for good food and drinks and this place performed there are too many items that we had to list here but from what I can tell you can’t go wrong. Did I mention how many beautiful girls there were at this place it’s definitely a local secret.

This was the second day that we chose beach front restaurant property to hang out at(the other one was La Palapa next door). I was there on a Sunday in the low season. We really enjoyed Mahi Beach Club. Another day of living the life of reilly… Sitting in comfort, in the shade, while being served very ice cold coronitas and coctel de camarones. I did not care for the style of the very ketchupy sauce in the coctel, but the shrimp were top notch! Coming here is all about getting a comfortable shady spot in the sand! And we were front row. Over all it didnt quite have the luxury factor of La Palapa, but was still really great and we prefered the music and slightly more relaxed ambiance of MBC. Honestly, they both cost about the same we spent 700 pesos($ 43USD) and id be happy to return to either place… Perhaps this weekend!

We tried Mahi Beach house on Playa de los Muertos the first day of our vacation and I believed we were there pretty much seven time out of the10 day trip. The service was super friendly without being pushy, the food was excellent from the seafood soup to the shaved abalone and nachos !!! And do I really need to mention the Coronitas !!! It looked like this little bottles had a hole in it !!! Our Italian Server friend was superb and very professional Everyone their was always trying to make your stay as enjoyable as possible The ONLY reason I am not giving them 5 starts: «they do not take credit card» and when you spend close to $ 100 a day you have to be prepared! we will be back for sure

Our cruise stopped in Puerto Vallarta. There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 18 months to 75 years old. We decided to go to Playa de Los Muertos. We were confused as to how things worked on the beach, and plopped our belongings down on some chairs. After explaining that these chairs belonged to their restaurant and a minimum purchase was required, we decided to stay and hang out at Mahi Beach House. It was a beautiful day, and a prime location to enjoy the beach. Our chairs were maybe ten yards from the water, but the restaurant had nice indoor seating too. The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. On learning that one of the people in our group had an animal phobia, one of the staff members actually went so far as to take their dogs away from the restaurant and back to their home. That left a very positive impression on me. I decided to try some of their food, so I ordered one of each type of taco they offered: shrimp, fish, marlin, and crab. All were tasty, but I especially liked the marlin, which was smokey and substantial. The staff helped us negotiate with a banana boat, which ended up being a great time. They had originally told us the minimum purchase for each person would be $ 10 each to use the space, however after food and ~10 waters and sodas, we only ended up spending $ 36. We were a little embarrassed, but the staff was incredibly gracious and did not even mention that we hadn’t come anywhere close to the minimum. If I’m ever in Puerto Vallarta, I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed coming to Mahi beach club during the day to enjoy some sun and drinks! If you order food there, you can enjoy their great chairs and ocean front view. The drinks are great and the food is mostly good. The highlights are, the grilled octopus, amazing, and also the guac and the ceviche were wonderful. Everything else is good, but not the best ever. Definitely worth checking out, if only for some drinks and apps and relaxation!

Mahi Beach House is a pretty decent spot to post up on Playa de los Muertos. They’re a few spots south of the pier, nestled in between a strip of beachfront bars and restaurants. The name of the game on this beach is that if you didn’t bring chairs or shade(and desire either), you buy drinks/food at one of these joints for use of the chairs. The going minimum purchase here is 150 pesos($ 10 at time of this writing) per person, and we jumped at it. It doesn’t take a ton of purchases to equal this out, and while the beverages and food here is likely more expensive than what you’ll find at restaurants and cantinas in town, you’re getting some prime real estate with your purchase. Service staff here was beyond friendly and accommodating. We rarely had to seek anyone out for service. And at the same time, they weren’t pushy. At. All. Which is a huge one for me. I don’t want someone hounding me to buy drinks when I have made it clear we’ll be posted up for a while, and we’ll be spending dinero. And no problems with that at all here. Plus they offer a decent booze selection, and the prices aren’t up to gouging level. As to the food? We sampled some guac, some tuna ceviche and nachos naturales. All were way above what I was expecting for beachfront. Often these joints push out crap food(we experienced it in Mismaloya) and overpriced drinks to prey on the beach crowd. I’d easily come back to dine again. Three of us spent a few hours, drank many drinks(often with call liquor), ate food, enjoyed beach chairs and shade, and had great service. After the bill and a large tip, it came to about $ 65. Sure I could have spent a fraction of that to buy beers at OXXO and dragged a towel down to the beach, but for the service, quality of food, and beverages, it was totally worth it.

Slow service, rude servers and a bad exchange rate. Never will be back. There are plenty of other places nearby that HAVE to be a better option.
