This is a gem. My family has eaten here 2x(so far) everything we have eaten has Been amazing. We sat at the bar and visited with the bartender Ulysses, both times. He is engaging, friendly and good looking! If you are in PVR this is a must. It’s a small place so you may want to make reservations to be on the safe side. They have drink specials & food specials. We had cucumber margarita & Mojitos! Tastiest in town!

The food is excellent and staff very friendly. We had cheese plate, tuna tartare and a pizza with pepperoni artichokes and blue cheese. Chef and owner David delivered our food. Great experience.

Holy shi*! So good. This little restaurant would easily hold its own in trendy Santa Monica. Much better and costs less than on-the-beach spots just a block away. The owner was in the restaurant and very nice. Started out with White wine sangria that was HUGE(wine and pineapple juice) and crazy good. Unlike a similar drink in America it was not too sweet, possibly with no sugar added. Theen had the gratis chips and guacamole(top shelf guac). Gaspacho — Just stupid creamy and delicious Fried Calamari — In the top 5 calamari I’ve ever had. Batter was light and delicious with a fair bit of seasoning. Delicious homemae tartar sauce, but wasn’t crazy about the olives on top of sauce(personal taste) Sliders — Out of beef sliders, so got chicken and veggie. The chicken was very good. The veggie one was unbelievably good. It tasted like fajitas and i didn’t miss the meat at all. Also, bread on sliders was solid. Papas Bravas — Very much perfect. Super crispy outside with fresh inside. Served with spicy-goodness sauce of some kind. Flan — The best i’ve ever had, period. Flan is often too sweet for me after a few bites, but this one is textured and well-balanced. Comes with some delicious crunchy granola bits on top.

A wonderful little place on a quiet street near the beach. Great food, live music and super friendly service. The drinks were tasty too. They have different specials every night(ours was tapas) so you’re sure to get a lovely meal and a sweet deal!

Great hole in the wall, had a pizza and possibly the best spinach salad I have ever had(pear, goat cheese, pecans) served by delightful people.

We kind of visited this new(a year or so old) little spot by accident when another place refused to honor our reservation. We were just wandering around not thinking we could possibly get a table for 6 in this very popular but tiny spot but they welcomed us warmly and had a table for us quickly. I can’t say enough about the staff — just lovely. The food is mostly small plates(tapas) and pizza. Since there were six of us we pretty much ordered the whole menu and everything we sampled was terrific — bright, fresh flavors — obviously very fresh ingredients prepared with love and pride. I was eating fairly light and had the best salad I’ve had in PV but sampled everyones’ selections and there was nothing that was less than stellar. Highly recommended — star off is for the very tiny space. We tried to return and could never get in again.

Had a great meal and great time here. It’s a small place, nice décor inside. They had plates of tapas on the bar– you’d take a plate and try the ones you want — about 20 pesos each. Menu has other«tapas» you can order, along with pizzas and sliders. Food was good. Wine list is very small, but the superior wine we had was quite good(359 pesos). House wine by the glass was 55 pesos– pretty decent. The night we went they had Latin music — 2 guys playing at a nice volume. We shared a table with another couple and had a great time talking. Really nice environment.

We were hating ourselves for waiting until our last night to try this place out. The staff is friendly, may not understand all of our English/attempted Spanish, but they communicate very well with their food! If you’re looking for a break from trying all the authentic Mexican street food and want great flavors and variety, this is your place! They have everything from hummus, tuna tartare with Asian flavors, pizzas, bruschetta, cocktails, tapas. If you don’t know what you’re in the mood for, come here and you can find something for everyone.

I liked everything about this restaurant. The excellent pizza, good caipirinhas, and super friendly staff. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset over a goat cheese/prosciutto pizza & garlic hummus. I’ll be back!

My friend and I took a week long trip to Puerto Vallarta recently and after some of the best mojitos we’ve ever had, we returned the next three nights in a row. You don’t see«craft» cocktails in Vallarta really anywhere, and the fresh mint, lime, sugar were bright and not to sweet and pretty much perfection. The kitchen was closed by the time we got there, but the servers discussed the menu in detail and we had to return. The space is tiny but intimate, and every detail is thought out. The wall dripping with wax from the candles on the ledge above, the settings delivered in little brown bags with the logo stamped on, the checks and desserts presented in ball jars. It’s adorable. The salads were fresh, bright, not overdressed. The albacore tartare with avocado was fantastic. The camarones were delicious. Their pizzas were also crispy and tasty and were complimented well by the adobo chili olive oil they serve as a side sauce. Then there was the service, David and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, caring and the definition of hospitable. Plus, knowing their way around the city they were also willing to share their favorite spots around the city for tacos, breakfast and just about everything else. It was a remarkably special place and I’ll absolutely be returning when I visit Vallarta again.

Staying just upstairs from the restaurant, we stopped here for a quick breakfast on our first morning in Puerto Vallarta. The dinner menu looked great, and the place is quite lively in the evenings — but we were only able to make it for breakfast. The Sweet had mollete(bolillo roll topped with mashed beans, cheese, and chorizo) and I had chilaquiles with a fried egg. The salsas were fresh and tasty, and the food was satisfying. The selection of panes dulces was good with our coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The servers two cute dogs sat patiently nearby, wagging their tails whenever he came close. The breakfast prices were a bit high, relative to other breakfasts specials we discovered later — but it was still quite affordable, and the food was worth it!
