Love this place for drinks and music. I got to hear songs from my youth — good old 80’s and 90’s tunes. Everyone is friendly, a tourist, and out to have a good time. Keep in mind most people here are older, as in seniors. Great place to get inexpensive drinks(don’t drink the red wine — so bad I almost spit it out) and chill out. Shot girls are fun. Our friends brought a donkey in, their daughter was on it. Hilarious.

Not a bad stop near the far end of downtown. The service was great. The waiter was attentive and wanted to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was okay, unfortunately I was recovering from a bad case of food poisoning from the hotel. Everyone else enjoyed their selection. The drinks were very strong. The quality of the food and drinks were made out like bandito’s on the bill!

Drinks, music and good service make this a good place to meet friends and enjoy Mexico. The lights are dim, the music is loud and the beer and mixed drinks are reasonably priced. On one occasion, a waitress was outfitted with a leather belt, think the Old West, with six shooters, except the holsters held tequila bottles and the belt held the shot glasses. When things got a little slow, she”d walk up to some unsuspecting patron and give them what I call a «Texas Titty Twister.» If you weren’t prepared, it hurt. If you could just watch others, it was somewhat entertaining to see the reaction. It was all in good fun. There is nearly always a fun-loving crowd and Andales rocks well into the night. It is worth a visit before you leave Puerto Vallarta.

Great atmosphere here! We were in downtown Puerto Vallarta doing our touristy stuff and our friend had remembered this place from 10 years ago when she first visited. We sat outside even though it was raining to have a few drinks, we ordered their lime margarita which was very good and strong, just the way we like it. The drinks were cheap and a great stop just to have a quick drink.

Love Andale!!! I’ve had machaca a couple times at other places but love this one. I like that their tortillas is almost like a roti… Very tasty and soft. Our waiter is super friendly. He offered us free donut for starters and gave both of us their house tequila complimentary. We love the vibe and outdoor seating! Definitely want to come back at night.

If you are a fan of the Bravo reality show«Real Housewives of Orange County» then you are aware Andale is Vicki Gunvalson’s, The OG of the OC, favorite watering hole. She loves to whoop it up here and introduce the other housewives to the Andale’s experience. Well after having lunch here I understand it’s appeal. Andale is located in Downtown Puerto Vallarta. Our newly acquainted friends insisted on taking us to Andale. The staff here is absolutely fun and exciting. Eduardo and Cesar waited on us. Eduardo is a flirt and made us laugh throughout our meal. Cesar was so cute and sweet, he was only 15. We got complimentary shots of Andale’s own tequila, which was actually very good and comes in a cute bottle. They also gave us complimentary Andale’s signature shots to end our meal, which was a mix of tequila, Kahlua and Pepsi. It tasted like a root beer float and was the perfect sweet ending to our lunch. The margaritas were large and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed my strawberry margarita on the rocks! It was great! The food was delicious. My boyfriend and I stuck with Mexican fare, tacos and fajitas. Both delicious and we ate every bite. I can’t say one bad thing about this gem. I would love to come back here at night during high season to get the late night bar experience that everyone raves about. Our lunch here was amazing and I would recommend anyone coming to Puerto Vallarta to put Andale on their to do list. Enjoy!

I was so excited to come to Andale for my first visit to PV back in March. We went here for dinner our 2nd night in town… we ordered drinks, the full rack of ribs and the pork osso bucco — everyone was a big fan of the food! The service was a little slow, although i think it is everywhere in PV — but we all enjoyed our food! A few days later my boyfriend and I decided to come back for a burger for lunch(I know, a burger in Mexico…), anyways, the burgers were AWFUL! Neither of us could even eat — it was just salty and had no flavor. Overall, if im back in PV i’ll come back here but will stay away from the burgers!

It’s taken an hour to get our food but only 3 mins to get our drinks… place is decent but not impressed… food is ok but is kind of over priced. The waiter was rude– the dude kept trying to liquor up my husband even though no one else in our party was drinking– it made me very uncomfortable. All in all I felt like the waiter was too aggressive in liquoring up people to even enjoy my dinner & thanks to him my husband had way too much alcohol & it ruined our night!

Great vibe. Loud music, playing all the songs you know and can sing to. Recent popular music and great rock anthems. The crowd in the bar was generally over 40. Mostly from the US. We’re in our youthful 50’s, but the seven young adults we had with us(ages 19 to 24, four kids, two nieces and one of their boyfriends) loved it. Tequila shots, of course, and cold beer. Try it after dinner elsewhere. Great way to finish off the evening.

Great restaurant any time of the day. This is a place for great breakfast, great lunch and great dinner! Let alone the drinks — definitely get a bucket of beers and a blended margarita(they have lime, strawberry, banana and mango — mango is my favorite) Eva and Edgar make this place lively, energetic and welcoming! For breakfast I like to get the steak and eggs and for lunch I like the fish tacos — there fish tacos is very yummy. Try this place out, it’s great from sunrise to sundown!

Excuse me, not quite sure where you read this was a DINING option. This IS a fun dive bar for the pre geriatrics at it’s finest! Generously poured drinks while listening to music you are not really sure you ever cared to hear again! Chillax, and go with the general drunk out of your mind madness!

We’ve had some amazing food in PV and this place was NOT one of them! The view of the street is great, the drinks generous but the food was abyssal. We didn’t have a full meal just some appetizers… The Caesar salad was long leaves of romaine with warm gross dressing. The tortilla soul was tomato water and chips. No veggies, & not much flavor. The waiters were nice enough. For the quality of food PV offers, Id come here for drinks before finding the REAL Mexican cuisine.

The bar seems fine, but if you’re planning to stop by to eat, turn away. The service was so terrible, we left and went to one of the many great restaurants in the surrounding area.

I might just not be a «steak for breakfast» kind of eater, but I was not at all satisfied with my breakfast. My husband loves these kinds of breakfast and he rated it a «5 or 6», just FYI. The steak was pretty dry, the eggs on top were good. The potatoes were probably the most tasty. The bread… Was rock hard. Definetly not a «let’s go again» for this one.

The combination chicken and beef fajitas were literally the best I’ve ever eaten. Make sure to go upstairs and eat on the balcony. There were lots of old(middle aged) drunk people dancing downstairs. The food was VERT good.

After dinner we headed down to Andales! The bar has been featured on RHOC so we figure we check her out. It was a lovely place filled with American tourist getting jiggy with it! We felt a little out of place but we made the best of it for for about an hour. We had a few cocktails pretty decent prices but it’s a place you have to be completely wasted to really enjoy! We were there on a Thurs night I can only imagine how a weekend night is #trajic. The end!

We visited at noontime. Sat outside under a covered awning at a solid, permanent picnic style table, with tablecloth. The waiter told me that their special was posale soup for $ 6 pesos. I had that, and it was in a large bowl served with two carved down boiled chicken legs, with shredded cabbage. Some of the best posale I’ve ever had. No draft beer, but a large selection of bottled beer. My companion had chile en nogedo, a poblano chile filled with meat, nuts, dried fruit and covered with cream sauce and pomegranate seeds. While it sounded delicious, it wasn’t, and was way too sweet. Service was impeccable and friendly.

This(and maybe Nacho Daddy’s) are where the straight tourist hordes descend on the South Side to get their party on. Complete with a donkey out front for pictures of yourself behaving badly. It is a LOUD, raucous, completely over the top, booze fueled non-stop fiesta. It pretty much is the anchor for all that’s happening on Olas Altas. If you’re in Mexico to get drunk, whoop and holler, and generally make a spectacle of yourself — you’ve reached nirvana. Hasn’t been my scene for 30 years or so and I actually cross the street when walking home after dinner in town to avoid being jostled and/or puked on. That’s the bad(at least to me). Now, the surprisingly good. It’s one of my favorite places in the area for nursing the remnants of last night’s debauchery — damn good breakfast. I prefer their Mexican breakfast savory dishes like chilaquiles but they have a complete roster of «normal» breakfast food and plenty of decent hot coffee which they diligently refill until you’re feeling like facing the day. Sit out on the sidewalk patio and watch other suffering visitors start to trickle out to start the process all over again. Quite pleasant and very reasonable prices. Can’t speak to the food at lunch or dinner so good luck with that. I’m guessing it serves its purpose to soak up the booze.
