A little tricky to find because it is hidden behind the rows of shops in the area. Another common name for this open gallery of street art is ‘Lorong Belakang’ which meant back alley. The back alley had a good mixture of interactive paintings, unique installments that made use of the back ventilation system, and 3D paintings. All done by various artists with their signature and contacts painted at the side. Some of them were pretty impressive. I enjoyed my first visit there. I was literally surrounded by art. Up, down, left, right, everywhere! There were lots of people and the artworks were still fresh. I spend a good two hours looking around and taking pictures — not selfies. I was actually doing all sort of funny poses for the pictures such as pretending to be blown away by the wind. My second visit however, turned out to be a huge disappointment. The paintings were not well preserved. The colours faded and the installments were taken down, leaving only two or three around. Hence, the rating, but granted that you’ve never been there before, I think you would still enjoy it because my aunt and uncle from Australia did.
