Laman Seni 2 is an alley of street murals(not to be mistaken for graffiti) and installments. A hidden gem in Shah Alam. The theme for the artwork in this alley is ‘back to school’. Get ready to breathe in the air of nostalgia. You will find a school bus, a hanging classroom, and the sorts. My personal favourite is the inverted classroom on the wall. It took me awhile to notice that it was a classroom but once I saw it, I was mind-blown. There are much less artwork in Laman Seni 2 than in Laman Seni 7 but the artworks are better preserved. How enjoyable is the trip here would depend on how wide your imagination is and on how much energy you are willing to put in to play along with the murals. I for one, pretended to be one of those school kids running out of the yellow school bus. There were a few boys pretending to be punished by the discipline teacher. Don’t come here alone though! Better in groups. The more the merrier ;)

This time I’m not gonna write a review about restaurants, cafes or places that involve foods. But this time I’m gonna write about an art gallery. Though I’m a kind of guy that sometimes don’t know how to appreciate arts, I need a place like this to settle myself down from any kind of stress. This place may not be as fascinating as the Penang ones but at least we got one here in Shah Alam right? There are lots of art with different type of messages. Just like the famous one — the cones that stick on the wall which represent the ‘global warming awareness’ message. But my personal favourite is the classroom set that were hang on the wall. So deep and meaningful I guess?
