Homst Restaurant

Homst is a decidedly terrible name for any shop to have, but for what it’s worth, they do serve pretty decent food.
Their buttered prawns tasted heavenly, and should be one of their signature dishes for you to choose from apart from their oyster omelette. The freshness of the prawn juxtaposes the creamy, milk-​heavy sauce that creates a light foam that entices your senses. Their oyster omelette are always well done, and should be your number one choice if you really yearn for some good ol’ protein.
That being said, the simple family fanfare that they serve here tastes pretty good, and pretty affordable too. You might want to skip on their drinks though; it is a bit too expensive for anyone to consume.

The last time I could remember eating at Homst was about a year ago. When I reached there with my colleagues, thank god it was not that pack, though I suspected maybe the food and standard might went lower. I was proven wrong when the staffs were friendly and the service is really efficient!
I manage to have my dish served on my table in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the beef ginger noodles which taste really good. They are generous with their portion and I could say their gingers as well: p. The prices are quite reasonable though I believe the drinks were a little overpriced but hey most restaurants make profit from drinks!
Definitely, I would return and this time taking my family with me to go for the main dishes

Most of Malaysians are Muslims and that’s why there are so many halal food premises here nationwide. Chinese-​Muslims cuisine is not something new in this nation. There are plenty of chinese-​muslims restaurant available. One of them is Homst. I don’t know what is the word ‘Homst’ stands for but that’s not reason why I’ve been there.
It is located next to the Tesco Extra Shah Alam so it’s not that hard to find. I went there with my friend for lunch after spent hours driving around the area looking for a place to eat. The environment is quite cozy and comfortable because it wasn’t crowded at that moment. Since I craved for Fried Yee Mee at that moment, I ordered myself one after saw the food on the menu list.
My friend went with the white rice and beef ginger. It looks tasty and I bet the taste is just the same. There are many other interesting foods on the menu such as the oyster omelette, buttered prawns, salted egg york prawn and etc but I’m not willing to against my limit. The taste the foods were something and so delicious. My friend agreed with me considering he was enjoying his meals so much.
The pricing range is so cheap and reasonable. Will be back for more.
