4-stars definitely for their prices here — food is average but I have heard that they used to be even better. But, if you’re getting tempura fish bowl with Japanese rice at the price of RM9, what’s there to complain, right? Located in Oasis Square, when you’re in this restaurant you will overlook a very great view outside — the Oasis Square water features! Here you’ll see a lot of different restaurants too, and I guess that’s why you will see a lot of families here during weekends. One of the attractive things as well about this restaurant would be their catchy name, so when you’re here you could expect some bad boy foods. From westerns to orientals to some bad boy burgers, and the plus point would be you can customize your set meal by choosing one main dish, one add-on(or more, why not?) and a set meal beverage. Their portion here is not small, but at the same time it might not be big for guys — so go ahead and order some add-ons if you are a big eater. Check out their milkshake range too ;)

What amazes me the first time here was the price of the food. It’s really affordable and the food is tasty. I’ve tried the baked rice bowl but I will recommend the burgers from the menu instead. The place might be full at times, so if you intend to come, do consider making a reservation in advance.

Ah bad boy cooks, a diner style restaurant in oasis square with reasonable pricing. Most of their main dishes are rm10 and below so it’s definitely a cheaper alternative to eat here amongst the other expensive food in oasis square. Food is definitely decent, nothing too much to shout about though. I had the grilled chicken which well, was alright although the portion was a little small for me. Add on ice lemon tea for only rm1 is really worth it especially since your local mamaks teh o ice limau is already at least rm1.80. Something else to consider if you’re a sweet tooth is their dessert, bad boy madness and it is truly madness. It’s a brownie with large cookies and ice cream! Did I mention the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle? It costs rm19 and it’s definitely enough to feed 4 people.

It’s a good place to chill and hang out with your friends whilst enjoying a burger with fries. The price is affordable and the staff are friendly. Also, the food comes quite fast and the place is air-conditioned. They serve a western cuisine and the place is normally packed with people. However, the food is good, but doesn’t stand out.

There are days when you crave for a greasy burger with fries. Bad Boy Cooks is a diner style restaurant that you would visit on your cheat day as they offer western meals at affordable prices. I always opt for the sloppy joe burger with fries, a sinful choice that never fails me. Add ons such as mushroom, bacon or cheese are available at an additional charge. The place is always packed during lunch hour so be sure to avoid the crowd. Look out for their daily specials also as there’s always something interesting. Lunch sets are available with just an additional charge of RM1 for drinks on top of your meal. I’ll say skip the desserts though as it’s not up to par yet.

The other night at Oasis Square, I went to Bad Boys cook real food again. Despite knowing the first time I went there and got a little disappointed with the service, I was hoping the second time it would have been better. When I was sitting comfortably on the chair, I took note of several changes within the restaurant. Some of them include a new menu, the lack of staff and the portion of the dishes.
I ordered the Cajun chicken dish along with chili cheese fries. When the dish arrived, I realized as mentioned the portion was minute. Compared to the first time I went there, it was a huge difference. Nevertheless, the dishes, both the chicken and the fries taste good. Moving in depth about the Cajun chicken dish, the succulent chicken fillet were well grilled, fresh and topped with a sauce of your choice with a mash potato and green peas by the side.
I would give a rating of probably 6⁄10 for my second experience within the restaurant due to the portion size as well as the service where I had to actually approach a waiter instead of them spotting my hand lifted for about half a minute. I wouldn’t mind returning but only on special occasions.
