This is the Korean restaurant to go to everytime I am in the neigborhood. Most of the food are tasty and even though the banchan are not plentiful in choice, they are easily refillable. The place fills up quickly for dinner every visit which proves the popularity of this place. Usually we have the korean bbq of select cuts of meat but the last visit we had the beef bulgogi stew and dolsot bibimbap only. Bulgogi is a bit on the sweet side but still warm, and comforting.

Ordered Set Lunch Thin Sliced Chicken, I’m not good with spicy food, but the food is decent, kimchi is good and tasty. Price is average. However I didn’t like the service, the staffs seem reluctant to service me, and they’re slightly slow to respond.

This is one of my favourite place to have good Korean BBQ. The place is owned by a Korean couple and the food is as authentic as it gets. I like this place because it’s not so commercialized like the bigger Korean BBQ restaurants. There’s two types of seating here, one is the normal tables and chairs seating the other requires you to remove your shoes and sit on the floor on a raised wooden platform on the right hand side of the restaurant. The floor seating gives out a more authentic feeling to the meal but I prefer the normal table and chair seating, it’s more comfortable. Now on to the food, you can never go wrong with the marinated meat personally I prefer the chicken over the pork, its tenderer. The pork chops are not bad either. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with Korean BBQ or how to go about eating it, the waiters here are friendly and willing to help. Usually if you are seat at the table they will barbeque the meat for you at a separate table(or on your table if there is enough space) and served it to you. I like this because I can never cook the right on my own. Like all Korean BBQ meals, you’ll get an array of side dishes here. Other must-try item is the fried glass noodles. The meal is topped off with a dessert of a porridge-like consistency. Overall a great place to get some good Korean BBQ!
