The place is cozy, suitable for outing with friends and family, there’s also ample amount of plug, suitable for people who can work from home/​café. Ordered a orange juice and it costs me rm 10.

The latte here is pretty good, typical café… know what to expect in terms of taste. Whats so special about this place is the ambiance, very cozy and comfortable. Their staff are very friendly and nice, makes me feel very welcomed. Will definitely come here again, good place to work or do assignments

My friends and I came here specifically for the Belgium Chocolate Ganache Tart, acronym BCGT which sounds more like a medical instrument, injecting delicious happiness during lunch hour. At RM12.00 per slice, we thought it was reasonably priced and my, my, was it good. The chocolate was rich and smooth with a hint of bitter cocoa before melting out to the sweetness. It was not overwhelming, so even after an entire slice to myself there isn’t that «jelak» after effect.
We also could not resist trying the Varlhona Hazelnut Nutella (RM14.00) which was moist and on point with the sponge layers. Despite it’s looks, its chocolatey-​ness is milder compared to the BCGT, leaving a fluffy fuwa-​fuwa sensation with each bite.
I was informed that the cakes are supplied by home baker Anne of 126Kitchen. I have been following her on instagram ever since!
As for the café itself, the owners aspire to be more than just a café but also as a place to inspire creative arts by showcasing various works of photographers, artists and the likes. I love the numerous paint illustrations on the wall. My personal favourite is in the current theme set entitled Hero of Malaysia, which is a small portrait of the late Karpal Singh and like all the other works, framed in a solid black picture frame.

I usually avoid coming to the SS2 area as parking here can be a nightmare at any time of the day I feel. However we had some errands to run and needed a place to get some grub so we headed over to The Augmented. It was your typical café type of setting. We had a cake each and both passed with flying colours! Their New York cheesecake was sinfully creamy and not bland at all. Their specialty Belgian Chocolate Ganache Tart was definitely the show stealer though, it was mouth watering and just so rich. I actually struggled to finish it as it really is very rich.

Just the perfect place to chill around or spending my lazy days. The ambiance are so cozy, calm and comfort. I might gonna bring blanket next time.
A cup of Macchiato is just a perfect combination with the environment. Loves on what they done with the walls. The tree on the wall are really amazed me a lot. One of the reason why the place is awesome.

With café names sounding more like a movie from a cheesy action director, The Augmented serves the citizens of SS2 with perfectly good cups of coffee, and minimalistic decorations.
I had my favorite cup of latte, and it was pretty good. Smooth to the lips, rustic to the throat and leaving a little froth in your mouth would be what I want to have from a perfect cup of latte, and it was just that. Of course there were other desserts to complement it, but I guess I was too preoccupied with the fact that the coffee was too good to be true to order one.
It is one of the better cafes that I have went to, and that leaves me with only one comment: why The Augmented? Just… Why? Gosh, everything has to sound like something from a lousy poet.

This café is a newly opened café in SS2. Found out about this place through my café-​hopper friend’s instagram and decided to drop by for a cup of Latte. This café is very modernly designed and the walls are decorated with beautiful paintings. Even though it is very modernly designed, it doesn’t fail to give me the cozy ambience, must be the lighting and soothing music.
Had a cup of latte and they are smooth to my liking. Their milk based coffees are brewed using quality milk (Pura Milk). No wonder they taste so good. Besides coffee, they also serve hot chocolate, T-​series designer gourmet tea, Bundaberg bottled drink and slow-​pressed orange juice. As for food, they have some, cakes, mini pastries and pastas. Their famous Belgium Chocolate Ganache Tart looks so deliciously tempting. I shouldn’t have eaten so much during lunch time. But it’s okay, there’s always next time.
The thing I like about this place is that unlike any other ordinary café, they are not only beautifully decorated but very spacious and comfortable to be at too. On top of that, the people here are very friendly too.

I came across this café while I was trying to find a place to hangout nearby this area, luckily while driving along this street I came across a sign board which states «the augmented». Being fascinated by the fancy named café, I decided to drop by and check it out.
In terms of environment of this place is that it portrays very modern and contemporary design feel to it. In other words, it feels simplistic and modern which is unlike other café joints that offers a more vintage contemporary environment.
This café serves the usual coffee beverages from espressos to lattes and a variety of cakes on display. I only managed to order a cup of latte as I, m never a fan for sweet stuffs (I don’t have a sweet tooth). I am satisfied with my latte, it’s well prepared not burned (unlike those chained coffee joints), and it’s fairly smooth as well which is great for those coffee lovers that prefers milder coffee taste.
It is definitely a great place to hangout especially those coffee lovers that have the privilege to «work-​from-​home/​café»
