So, I was at their Petrona Towers location(l’m guessing it’s new since it did not show up on Unilocal). I he location and ambiance are great(after all, it’s by the Petrona Towers!)…you can watch the dancing fountains as you sip you drink. Problem is that the food(or the chef) are mediocre at best… Oh well, nice try :-)

My friend had hosted a birthday celebration here once, and the apartment was a nice place to have a group dinner too! The setting was like an apartment. Hence, the name and we were having our dinner in the bathroom of the whole apartment. This restaurant is located in the curve, by the outdoor streets and It’s on the same row as laundry bar. It was really interesting of the way they have set the whole place. The lighting here is pretty dark, so it gives off a romantic setting. The service here is average but the staff here were friendly. There’s also a bar in this apartment. So far, I’ve only eaten in the bathroom(so weird to say it). There are many different other furnished areas to eat at here in the apartment. It was definitely a different experience for me and it was interesting to see a new setting of how the restaurant was placed.

I find that this is the best place to go for when you have a special occasion or maybe bringing a date to. Love how they can blend in the features of an apartment into a restaurant. :) They even have a bar in house! And also huge couches at the entrance which you can also choose to dine in and have your meal there! Waiters are friendly and approachable and food choices are aplenty. I tried on their chicken and mushroom pasta and it tasted awesome! It’s a pasta that contains wine though. You can choose to opt it out if you want. The tossed pasta was pretty good as well. There are 3 choices of meat to select from. And the price range was pretty reasonable for all :) There’s also a wide range of desserts available. They looked awesome from the looks of it. I will definitely be back there to try them out again!

When this shop first came out, everyone was raving about how great it was. The concept of the spot is very apartment like and I remember they had this special meal called«Chicken in a bag» which was my favorite one out of everything they had. The meal was so simple yet so tasty. My family and I used to come here all the time to get a fix of the«Chicken in a bag». I know some people really love this shop and some people really like it. I am neutral about it

On a hot Thursday afternoon, my friend and I took a stroll down to The Curve. Curious as it seems he wanted to try the pasta at The Apartment. Parking was not an issue, as well as getting a seat as lunch hours have long passed. He ordered chicken and mushroom pasta while i ordered tossed chicken pasta. When the dish arrived and both of us give our first bite, we both agree the pasta was a little salty; however, as for me, i do enjoy the fragrant smell of the herbs, garlic and parsley leaves. For the ambience, it kinda reminds me like The Journal at Plan B. Overall the dish is not bad, the ambience is cozy and the service is good. I would recommend you guys to try the pasta in hopes the next time they prepare the dish, less salt would be in it!

As the name suggests, this place is designed to make you feel lke you’ve never left home! It is designed to be cosy, intimate and almost like you are in your own personal space. As quirky and attractive the«bed» sittings are, they aren’t the most comfortable perhaps being worn out and it kind of sinks when you sit into it, making your eating level uncomfortable. I do love the art pieces of cute furniture and book shelves tho! Service wise, I have no complains. Staffs are friendly and efficient, oh if you are a Pinch of Salt member, this is one of the listed outlets! I have tried their Beef Burger and I have to say I was very pleased with it. I understand that most come here for their desserts so I wasn’t expecting much. My beef patty was really really juicy and thick, it was bursting with flavors of herbs and garlic, making every bite so tasteful. At RM25.90, though not cheap, I have to give credit for the effort put into this well made burger. The portion was just right too. I have also tried the Smoked Salmon Carbonara pasta and I thought it was delicious too! The smokey flavor made eating your regular creamy carbonara so much more exciting, and my portion of salmon was quite good too. They have weekday lunch deals that starts from RM19.90 that comes with a starter and main, and I definitely think it’s worth checking out. Good food in a lovely themed place.

The Apartment is furnished to look exactly like one, and while it does seem homely, the menu is not, offering a variety of dishes that you will only be able to taste if your husband happen to be Heston Blumenthal. Of course, the menu is not without its surprises. From the extremely weird cherry jam meatballs to the variety of pastas, the choices are endless, and gives you a feel of doubt if you are to choose something wrongly. I did not try their desserts, but it is said that their parfaits are legendary and to die for, so there’s that. Otherwise, it is a perfectly normal restaurant with decent food, and offers an ambience that kicks its competitors down to the shin.

Go to the outlet in KLCC! GO and I mean GONOW. The food are amazing. I tried their Chicken Mushroom Pasta, Cod Fish Something(I forgotten the full name) and Cherry Jam Meatballs and they were exquisite. Exactly what I am expecting with the price I pay. The sauce jives perfectly with the food, and every portion of the food is perfectly cooked with the correct texture. No disappointment in the food that I ordered. The ambience is good, contemporary design with some outdoor rustic feel to it. Good working crowd the KLCC hence it is rather pleasant to be around. Their waitress are really friendly and thoughtful too. They pay attention to your needs throughout your dining time and ensure you’re well taken care off until you go off. Love it.

Cleverly furnished to look like a cozy apartment, this is one of my favorite hangout spots. I often sit outside on the deck with my friends for dinner to watch people as they scurry off to the nearest bar or restaurant, always a fun pastime while waiting for our food. Or if we’re feeling more private we would sit inside but at the ‘balcony’ as they call it, where you could still have your ciggie with your food. Now let me ask you this, do you like parfaits? So do it. Ok, let me correct that… I LOVE parfaits! Its one of those desserts that don’t make you feel so bad after you swiftly consume one, or two cause you know, they have fresh fruit in them and fresh fruit is good for your body. The Apartment used to have the best parfait in town. But sadly, they have taken it off the menu since they first opened. I almost organized a rally in which my sign would say ‘parfait profanity’. Get it? Parfait is French for ‘perfect’. Smart huh? I soon digressed. I continued my patronage at The Apartment because to tell you the truth, their other food menu items are exceedingly delicious. I always get my green curry chicken fix there and their consistency in flavors never fail to astonish me. And ever since they abruptly ended my love affair with their parfait, I’ve since then settle for their red velvet cake, which is truly marvelous. People say never settle for second best, but I beg to differ. The peach and strawberry parfait will always remain as a sweet, distant memory to which I will hold dearly in my heart.

I’m a lazy sod and perfection comes in the form lounging in my bed, laptop propped against my knees and my good manservant Chauncey feeding me mouthful after mouthful of lovingly prepared nasi lemak so obviously when someone tells me that you can visit a restaurant with beds, I’m going to be all for it. So when we got to The Apartment, I made a beeline for the sitting area with the day beds(I recognize them as being from IKEA btw) and claimed my stake. Obviously I avoided peeing around the area to mark my territory seeing as how these sorts of things are frowned upon and what not. In terms of ambience and décor, The Apartment has a pretty cool vibe. Spacious and dimly lit with dark wood fixtures that make for a cozy but elegant setting. The menu in question also seems pretty impressive. A decent selection of meals, desserts and beverages(both of the boozy and non-boozy variety) but my problem with the place comes in the form of execution of the food. The salmon fettucine felt like a treasure hunt on food form, seeing as how we had to dig about to get to the sparse morsels of salmon and the baked fish was on the dry side. The Irish Lamb Stew was probably the hightlight as the meat was tender and the gravy rich. So overall, I would say that the ambiance is decent but the food is painfully average which wouldn’t have mattered so much if it wasn’t all so steeply priced.
