I love Map’s! I’ve been here twice and I’d come back for a third and then a fourth and so on. It’s situated near Sunway Pyramid, specifically the row of shops right of Petron petrol station. It’s quieter here, but parking is limited. Twice I’ve been here and twice I am satisfied with the food, drinks and service. The last time I was here, there was the lunch crowd so we had our meal in the backyard which is converted into the outdoor sitting /smoking area. It was quiet and peaceful behind, so I didn’t mind it at all. Map’s Pork Meatballs is highly recommended. It is served with cubed potatoes over brown gravy, garnished with spring onions. The meatballs are authentic and juicy. Instant love for pork lovers. Also, the toasted baguette by the side tasted great with the brown gravy. I also enjoyed the Pork Meatball Pasta with Herbed Cream, especially the cream. The thick cream was cooked with a generous amount of garlic and herbs which for me enhanced the flavour of the meatballs. Their Porky Pancake was good too. The pancake was not too sweet and was served warm with potato cubes, two strips of bacon, an egg on top and a small cup of honey for dipping. I really liked how the sweet complemented the savoury. For drinks, I had a Swim which is a juice combo of 3 fruits. I don’t think it was worth RM11, but the weather was so hot that I needed a refreshing drink to cool myself down. It was quite a large glass which lasted me throughout my whole meal(and I tend to drink large gulps frequently when I eat!). Plus, the service was good. The waitresses were real friendly and quick. On top of that, we had a slice of cake on the house! We were served a chocolate brownie cake with cranberries which was not too bad though I’d prefer more cranberries. We wanted a slice of their cake of the day, but it was all sold out. So, I guess that was a blessing in disguise… Overall, thumbs up to Map’s Café!

I’ve been here twice with some friends and both experiences have been pretty good ones. The atmosphere is airy and simple and there’s plenty of seating space, even for big crowds. Though during peak times it may be hard to grab a table. The staff are all super friendly and polite and give good recommendations. When I was having trouble deciding over Eggs Benny or French Toast she actually took the trouble to explain what’s so different about the two dishes to see which fit my mood better. The Eggs Benedict here is the same as any Egg’s Benedict you would get anywhere, though the Hollandaise sauce was tasteless. It is also served with a slice of back bacon under each poached egg which made it much more appetizing. On my second visit i tried the French Toast but was dissapointed. The toast was too dry and crumbly and the berry compote that came alongside it was also really dry and more of a jelly texture than a compote. The pork meatballs are good and worth the price. Well seasoned and generous in size, I’d recommend everyone try it at least once.

Went to MAP’S a few times with my uni mates. The interior of the café is nicely decorated and the staff are really friendly. Great place to relax and unwind with friends especially during long breaks in between classes. My favorite foods from MAP’s are the Porky Pancakes, Map’s Porkballs and their Homemade Bruschetta with bacon chips, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes & basil! The Porky Pancakes are a perfect balance between sweet and savory in a dish! This would be perfect if you like bacon and eggs with your pancakes. The Map’s Porkballs comes with yummy sauce and potatoes which was a favorite among my friends. Also, the bruschetta is something you should not miss out! Portions here aren’t big but it isn’t pricey so no complaints. Didn’t fancy their cakes but the coffee here is not too bad!

My favourite go to place for a great meal and coffee. Located in front of the Children’s Community Centre building in PJS11. This café is a local favorite for campus students around that area to enjoy a cup of coffee. Which can be crowded during lunch time. But it’s fine after 2pm, but bare in mind this café closes at 6pm. A little odd why this café doesn’t extend till at night but that’s their policy I guess. The food is superb in my opinion, especially their carbonara pasta which is served with poached egg! And their Bruchetta is a must try! I’ve been here many times with friends just to hang out simply because their coffee is delicious. Just take a sip of cuppacino and the after taste still remains, that’s what I like. I get to enjoy my coffee longer this way. I would recommend this place for a great meal, great coffee, good and friendly waiters and a great place to hang out. It’s not that hard to find here in the Map’s.

You don’t need any maps to go to the MAP’S. Why? Because it’s not hard to find. It’s just behind the Petron station on the same row as Sunway Pyramid. Plus, who needs map these days when you got your smartphones inside your pocket. As soon I stepped my foot inside the premise, I could felt the coziness of the surrounding. The peace and calm environments did straight me right into the face. I was fascinated with their interiors. Just makes me feels like I’m inside a kitchen at my home. I’m not a coffee person so I quickly ordered a glass of fruits juice as soon I saw it on the menu. Well, the drink that I ordered was not just an ordinary juice. It’s combined by 3 different fruits which are watermelon, grapes and blackberry. I could feel the ‘kick’ness of the drink only after my first sip. The most recommended dish would be the signature porkballs. Well, I don’t eat porks so I went with the second’s most recommended meal — The Homemade Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Yeah, it’s a dessert considering I went there for my tea time session. Remember to be here whenever you got yourself around Sunway Pyramid and please, don’t bring your own maps.
