what makes this stall different from others is that, they have steamed rice and they cooked with different pot. wow wow wow. The rice is so fat and mouthwatering and for sure you«terngiang ngiang«how the taste like and you sure will come back to this restaurant. what are the specialty at this restaurant? Their specialty of the menu is the ayam goreng berempah .It taste so amazing and delicious. You will eat them with sambal belacan. it is paired with the pineapple chunks to make it more freshy while it bite them. You will served with hot beef soup to make the rice melt in the mouth and also to warm your tummy. I ordered salted egg for my additional to make it more salty and have different kind or flavor while eating. The cost of the rice with the drink is just RM6.80. They already served their secret recipe for about 4 years with the unique touches. sooo why not give a try at this stall. it superb amazing experience and the price also reasonable and affordable.

Ilham Nasi Kukus has got to be the most delicious spot ever for Nasi Kukus. The first time I tried, I knew immediately I’d come right away. I never really knew what Nasi Kukus was until my colleagues took me there. It is in Mutiara Damansara right in front of the one and only mosque. If you come on Friday’s, that’s when it is most busiest. It will cost you just around RM5 for 1 meal(including the fried chicken). The rice is often covered with a special sauce. I don’t know how to describe the taste but it is a mish mash of curry, not so curry type of meal. I’d categorize it under Malay food. However, everytime I eat this, I will end up super satisfied AND sleepy. It’s the magical meal… it kind of makes you high. HAHA!

I’m tired with all Nasi Kukus joints on the Shah Alam area. Come on, I’ve been tasting their Nasi Kukus for more than 2 years now. I had to find a new place for me to experience a new taste of Nasi Kukus. Somewhere a bit further. So, after doing my research by surfing through the webs, Nasi Kukus Ilham came top on the list. Well, it’s just located at Damansara. Just 30 minutes of driving from my apartment. As soon as I got there, straightly grabbed a seat and ordered up my Nasi Kukus and iced tea. It’s not hard to get your Nasi Kukus because it’s a self service. The menu is just the same but you’ll get to choose what kind of chicken parts do you want as your garnish and how much gravy do you need on your rice. Well, the taste is delicious as any other Nasi Kukus that I tasted but their sambal paste was a bit spicy than others. For those who can’t withstand this, I recommend you to not put sambal paste inside your Nasi Kukus or put some more extra gravy.

They are famous with their steam rice which means«Nasi Kukus» in Malay. You will need to procedure of self-service there. First, they will serve you the rice wrapped with banana leaf, then you can choose type of curry paste of your preference. Usually I will opt for all kind of curry paste with some chopped chilies and pineapple. Is better to ask to separate the chopped chillies because it is really spicy. At last, you can choose your favorite part of fried chicken. Chicken taste tangy, it’s delicious when you have it together with their chili. Rice is soft and tasty when you mix it together with curry. They also sell Keropok Lekor(traditional fish cracker snack), I will usually dipped it with the curry paste or the chili sauce and it actually taste good. The restaurant is quite hygiene but it’s warm inside. No air-conditioning, only few fans provided. There is lot of parking space in this area and is free parking base but please avoid driving there during Friday noon as this restaurant is right next to a mosque. Hence, It will be very jam.
