This place is actually mainly a coffee retailer and they supply coffee to many cafes around the Klang Valley and beyond. The owner was a Barista Championship judge — Yip Leong Sum and you can see the accolade of certificates lining the walls of the café. They also have large coffee grinders and roasters and if you come at the right time, you can see them in action with the coffee beans. You don’t have to buy beans in order to visit, they have coffee available and even coffee cocktails! They don’t have many seats available as they are mainly a coffee supplier but they are always welcoming to visitors. Even though the owner is a coffee connoisseur, their coffee is far from snobbish — single origin beans populate this place and they have their own blends of java that they can recommend to you. Single origin just means the beans harvested are from the single location, providing community value to your cuppa. We had a virgin cup of coffee that day and have not tried the cocktails but I bet they are good. The selection of alcohol lining the café shelves says that much. You can mix the single origin blend of your choice with rum or amaretto or have it ice blended for an interesting twist to a hot day. So far, I have tried Ethiopian blend and Kenyan blend, honestly I have no tastebuds for coffee hence it tasted the same for me, latte style but a friend who is more well averse claims that Kenyan coffee is milder than regular beans. Just come here for coffee, not for food because they don’t have much munchies to offer.
