Fantastic located hotel next to KLCC Park. Good sized rooms with Twin Tower view. Very good breakfast with a sushi chef, a smoothie guy, a pancake guy, a pastry woman, of course an omelett guy, lots of Chinese food, Malay food, a veggie buffet and lots of continental options. Skybar with a swimming pool. The gym was nice and had a fantastic view over the city. We had a 5 corse meal at Gobo’s Grill for New Years eve because everyone we met adviced us not to go outside into the crowds. Not so impressed by the food… Overall a nice hotel and except for NYE dinner and exceptional SLOW elevators everything about the stay was very good.

5 star rating, 5 star service. Traders hotel is definitely one of the top hotels in KL city centre. Its located right in the heart of KL, just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Twin Towers. We had a stay-cation a few months back and I have to say it was one of the best I’ve had. We only had a deluxe room booked, but upon arrival we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite. The receptionist were really helpful and polite. Didn’t take long to check in and we were served complimentary drinks upon arrival. The room was huge and there was a bowl of complimentary fruits waiting for us when we entered. The bath room was spacious and was equipped with not only a bath tub, but a jacuzzi as well! We were thrilled. The view of the Twin towers from the room at night was so pretty and romantic! The breakfast was awesome! The pancakes were so fluffy and fresh, the maple syrup, cream and strawberries were all handpicked and as fresh as can be. Will definitely be back for another stay-cation soon.

One of my favorite hotels in KL, Traders hits all the right notes for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel seated across the Twin Towers offers spectacular views day and night. First things first, the service here is amazing. Staff are super attentive and happy to assist you in any ways. Check in was a breeze with no hassle at all. The rooms are modernly decorated in earthy tones. Even though the room we stayed in were not very spacious, but it was definitely cosy enough for two. If you can afford opt for the rooms facing the Twin Towers! Facilities here are simply great. From the restaurants like Gobo Chit Chat to the famous Skybar, you don’t need to venture afar! The pool might be a little small but we can hardly complain when you can laze around the cabana with a glass of cocktail with the amazing views of KL city centre. Definitely one of my top choice in KL!

Traders Hotel is a wing underneath the grand Shangri La Hotel. Located in the city center, getting to this hotel is not an issue. Easily accessible by the light rail transit(Kelana Jaya Line), simply alight at the KLCC stop and make your way up to the Symphonic Fountain. You can opt to walk through the Convention Center or hop on the buggy that will drive you right to the doorstep. Right outside the hotel is a café, I was a victim to their overpriced drinks. An ice blended lemon drink costs me RM13, ridiculously expensive, no? The receptionist is located on your right if you’re walking through the main entrance and the lifts to the rooms will be on your left. I had a mini staycation here a few months back as we celebrated my friend’s birthday party at the well know SkyBar(I’ll leave that for another review). My friend and I got the Deluxe Garden View room with basic amenities. The pillows were fluffy, towels were fresh and not heavily washed with detergent. No complains about my stay here except for a few small issues. Firstly, depending on which side of the building your room is, you will either have a fantastic view of the towers or be facing another building. I was lucky to have the middle room so I had a moderate view of the park and a few constructions. Secondly, the air conditioner though had a weird rumbling noise to which I called up receptionist but I guess that’s normal.
