Buffet Food was average. But chicken satay is nice. However, the buffet price doesn’t includes coffee and other drinks and have to pay extra for that…

The restaurant is on the 11th floor of the Hilton Doubletree hotel in the Intermark complex across the street from the Ampang Park LRT station. Make a reservation because they fill up easily. They have different stations based on the cuisine. There is a Malay Chinese and Indian station and salad and dessert station. A variety of local dishes are offered. It is hard to choose because you want to eat everything but your belly will only accept so much. I went for lunch and the price per person was about 100 ringgit. A little steep so I only gave 4 stars but it was worth it. Yummy!

My family and I went to Makan Kitchen at Doubletree Hotel to celebrate my aunt’s belated birthday and an early farewell dinner for my brother. Doubletree Hotel is located in The Intermark, and it’s really easy to find using Waze. From the carpark, you’ll need to take the lift or escalator to Level L and switch to the lift at the far end to get to Makan Kitchen at Level 11. Frankly, I find this is really inconvenient especially if you have elderly or disable-people in the group. The moment we stepped into Makan Kitchen, we were gtreeted by the friendly staffs. However, I really do not like the lightings and find the place to be a little bit dark. Makan Kitchen serves both local and international spread, but I was disappointed to know there weren’t any Japanese dishes. Having said so, their existing spread were not too bad. I like the roast lamb and chicken, the meat were tender. The beef rendang was delicious — tender meat and aromatic gravy. It’s too bad that they only serve one plate per table, so it’s not refillable and you can get it from the buffet line. Generally, the dishes were not too bad except for the Peking Duck and flat bread. The wrap for Peking Duck was too thick, and the flat bread was dry. Apart from this, the ice cream was a bit too watery when served(you have to request the server to scoop the ice cream for you), but I found the Vanilla Black Pepper ice cream was very unique. Overall, my family and I had an enjoyable dinner at Makan Kitchen, and the staffs were very attentive. The service was very good.
