Walking into Madisons, it gave a very cosy and friendly vibe. The interior is simple yet with a chic and stylish touch. Madisons serve light modern European cuisines with clear flavours and using local produce where possible. Another good news, the head chef actually headed an award winning Italian restaurant in Adelaide before stepping foot into Malaysia. Same as their interior, the menu was simple too, but we had a tough time deciding what to order as all of the dishes look super delicious! All of you Pâté lover, I might have just found another amazing restaurant that offer amazing pâté — Tuft Duck and Chicken Liver Pâté, Red Wine Jelly, and Compressed Baby Pears. The pâté was creamy and flavourful and pair it with a little bit of that red wine jelly for some sweetness to cut down on that creaminess. A slight negative comment: the dish might get a little messy-greasy while consuming due to all the spreading, but who cares so long they are delicious! Being a HUGE beef lover, I can’t say no to any«beef-related» dish. So, here comes the Braised Beef Cheeks — fork-tender beef with smooth potato cream. To end our meal, we decided to have their Chocolate Mousse with Cocoa Powder and Salted Caramel. I’m very sure this will be very well-received among the chocolate lovers. The chocolate mousse was rich yet light, the bitterness of the cocoa powder help to balance out the sweetness of the mousse, and the salted caramel added the much needed texture to the entire dish. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I’d definitely recommend this place. As for me, I’m already planning to my next visit to the restaurant.
