Hidden away at a lorong in Bangsar, here you will find a restaurant downstairs which focuses on European cuisine. Upstairs, there’s nostalgic-themed bar with very vivid walls décor, rattan chairs, bamboo blinds. You will feel as though you’re drinking in an old-heritage house. Apart from the cool heritage factor, the cocktails are very good here. Award-winning mixologist, Angel is usually behind the bar making exotic cocktails with a local twist. You can expect ingredients like kaya, gula melacca and etc.

Hit & Mrs is definitely one of the more decent Big Group outlets. I can go there again and again if just for the atmosphere itself. The downstairs dining area is a bit tight, but it’s so beautifully garden. The upstairs bar is even better. The set-up is like an old Malaysian house, and it brings back memories of my grandma’s house. They have this beaded string curtain near the bathroom and that thing is so hard to find these days! Food wise, I generally like it although I do find it overpriced. The chef is talented but still, paying RM200 for three courses is a bit too much in my opinion. I prefer to drink at the bar upstairs because Angel, the bartender, makes some really cool cocktails. Expensive too, but what am I to do?

I went here for the first time to for the b-day party of my best friend. I loved the place. I have to say that it’s a little hard to find the place, because it’s surrounded by some local places. At the ground floor, you can sit at a table if you wanna have an amazing meal. The interior design will blown you away and the stuff is super amazing. At the upper level, you can sit if you wanna have a drink or work. The quite & relaxing ambient is at both levels. The place is not cheep, so you have to expect to spend some money there. But the drinks are delicious and the combinations made by the bartenders are amazing. You definitely have to try this place.

I may be a tad biased but pretty much any establishment the the BIG Group opens, I’ve ended up being a fan of. So lo and behold, when I visited Hit & Mrs, I loved it. It’s in a rather odd place for a bar and you’d never know it was there unless you were told so. Nestled above its the restaurant downstairs, the place is a collection of old heritage type furniture with a Malaya kind of feel. There are only two employees present upstairs, the bartender and a server. Both of whom are extremely friendly and if you’re lucky, they might throw in some free bar snacks. This place definitely serves up a mix of weird yet very tasty drinks such as the Asamboi Mojito, the Lychee Martini and the spiced Sangria. The cocktails are slightly more pricier but well worth it at about RM30+. Tables do fill up fast on Fridays and Saturdays so do drop by early and have a bit downstairs before heading up for a drink or two.
