Hop on to their Taman connaught outlet for food and drinks. To my surprise, there was quite a huge variety of food choices. But I didn’t quite like how the menu was structured as the menu was quite messy for me. It is not customer friendly. I would suggest them to actually simplify their menu. Let us move on to their food. We ordered their aglio olio set dinner that comprises of the main course, mushroom soup and a dessert as well as a grilled chicken chop. The mushroom soup was a tad bit too watery. It was not as creamy and thick like the other mushroom soup. On the other hand, the aglio olio taste pretty good. It is served with boxing chicken and salad on the side. The spaghetti was seasoned well and the taste was pretty good. The complimentary dessert is a bowl of grass jelly which was nothing to shout for. Moving on to the second main course, the grilled chicken chop with fries and salad on the side, it was just okay. I saw quite a number of people ordered their Japanese fried rice, which my next visit I will definitely give it a try.

Ah, Leaf & Bean. A perfectly decent café at its heart, it is located in the most cancerous mall in KL, but still manages to pull its crowd to this place due to this taste.
That being said, their variety of choices are aplenty, ranging from your typical cups of tea to your milk teas that can tingle your taste buds. They do have puddings and stuff that really compliments the stupid weather right now, and they do serve your cups of sugary goodness like flavored lattes. A perfectly fine place to go to if you are on a date, and a perfectly terrible one too because it is located in Pearl Point.
That being said, you should only visit this place if you have friends. I mean, come on lads, it’s located in Pearl Point, goddamn it. Everything here exudes the word ‘dangerous’.

Looking to cool off on a hot day? Leaf & Bean is a relatively new drink stall that has got your back! Starting off as a humble stand along the floors of Pearl Point, they have since gained popularity amidst patrons of the mall. It just so happens that the manager of Leaf & Bean was my mother’s ex-​colleague!
While they had been busy catching up on old times, I took the time to check out their menu. From roasted milk tea to lattes and chocolate pudding, they manage to have quite the interesting variety! Prices at Leaf & Bean are reasonable as well. My personal favorite being the Red Bean Green Tea Latte was just the right amount of bittersweet, and satisfying enough. It was an all around good experience for me though, so check this place out if you get the chance!
