Despite the horrible jam and lack of car park bays, The Daily Grind located at Bangsar Village is worth the trouble. They serve the juiciest and tastiest burgers in town. Not just patties, you can choose you choices of meat, whole chunks and slices of chicken or beef, in between your burger buns. Even the fries are made from fresh potatoes. You can really taste them well. Their pasta is not the regular ones you find at any other shops. It’s a little more fusion at The Daily Grind as the spices and flavours leans more towards the East. As for sides, you need to get the banana fritters. It’s basically skewered and deep fried and served with what tasted like mayonnaise with a hint of lemon zest. It’s a must for you get this side. Thought it only comes in two, one is more than enough considered it’s a little bit too oily. Desserts can never go missing in a meal. How about their signature pancake stuffed with whipped cream and lots and lots of strawberries? Sounds yummy right? Well, it is yummy as it comes with a scoop of ice cream as well. The Daily Grind is built around a very cosy setting with the idea of an old yet modern American diner in concept. Go with your close friends to catch up on gossip and chats under the dimmed lights and soft, springy couches. Not feeling that? Head on to the bar area then.

Although I am very loyal to KGB, any of my friends recommended this place so I decided to try out and I’m glad I did. It’s located on the lower floor of bangsar Village, and if you don’t know there you might miss it. The burger is one of the best I’ve tried here and KL. I tried their breakfast burger which is a juicy beef patty in an English muffin which is an odd combination that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. And yet it was delicious. The ambience is casual and very nice. The prices were good considering the quality of the food, and the service was really good. I remain loyal to KGB, but I will definitely recommend stopping by at this place for a good burger.

I am obsessed with hamburgers. Now what makes a perfect hamburger? Well for me personally is a couple of toasted buttered buns, a grilled piece of red meat, a dollop of ketchup, a slice of good old cheddar cheese, some pickles, onions and lettuce oh and not forgetting a side of french fries. Now to me my friends that is the definition of a perfect hamburger meal. Of course some may like theirs differently. i mean there are only so many variations of a hamburger! Dont get me wrong i do love trying out others too and thats why i love coming to The Daily Grind. They’ve got a wide selection of hamburgers boasting of different flavours, such as My Big Fat Greek Burger which is a juicy piece of lamb patty sandwiched between pitta bread, grilled eggplant cucumbers, yoghurt and served with feta salad(but you could swap em with fries!) The Jai Ho Burger chargrilled chicken breast smothered with their spicy dynamite mayo sauce, onions and with a side of pappadums. The list goes on with other juicy burger creations and im on a mission to try them all! The portions served is just right for one and their homemade ketchup and chilli sauce is out of this world. I love how you can taste how natural the ingredients are and that there are no preservatives in them. Their pricing is pretty decent too and absolutely love the american-diner feel of the place. A must go for burger lovers!

This is one of the earliest homemade gourmet burger to have landed around Bangsar Telawi streets. I find the interior decoration interesting because it is steampunk design. It would be even more brilliant if they were to keep everything monotone to bronze. The splashes of red is a bit tad much in my opinion. But I still think it’s cool. Although they do serve a variety of food, you will find their menu is covered mostly by their burgers. And amongst all these burgers I fancy their lambugerni most because the name just cracks me up. However I do wanna say that this is not your average eating place because their price is almost 5 times as much as a McD burger. I do think the quality and portion is worth the price tag.

When I’m not obsessing with my usual MyBurgerLab’s burgers, this is what I’m raving about. Needless to say the burgers here are legit. Beef patties, chicken patties mushroom patties for the vegetarian palette and even fish patties, The Daily Grind can do no wrong. Now forget the burgers for a second. Their desserts are amazeballs. Particularly their Old Fashioned Waffles. To Die For. Loaded with whipped cream and strawberries, it’s basically diabetes in a waffle. The Daily Grind also has a somewhat unusual, quirky side with their serving of the Dog’s Dinner which is a serving of fries with melted cheese and onions in a steel dogs bowl. A literal dogs bowl that I have actually bought from the pet store. Say what?! Fear not as it is obviously a clean bowl used for us of the human variety only. Definitely worth a try as it actually tasted pretty damn good.

Although it’s a little on the pricey side, daily grind has some really good food to offer. From really great burgers to fluffy pancakes to some seriously interesting appetizers like dog’s dinner. Please note that dog’s dinner is not actually dog food although when it is served, it looks a lot like it. It’s actually fries smothered in their creamy sauce and cheese and it tastes heavenly. If your taste is more on the spicy side, you would probably enjoy their stuffed jalapeño peppers. I’ve tasted quite a few of their burgers and the meat is juicy every single time. They have their own homemade ketchup and goes really well with the fries. For dessert,(they have quite a few options that I would recommend) they have the best salted caramel chocolate cake I’ve tried.

Here comes a burger post! First up, I have to say good job on the location, right in front of the beautifully lighted streets of Bangsar. The same goes for the interior, its actually my first time seeing a burger diner partnered with a bar. The waiters are very attentive and polite, which is a huge plus point for me. As for the food, I have an issues with turning down any blue cheese related burgers. The Juicy Bluesy Burger was what I had. Man when it arrived on my table, the cheesy aroma was quick to hit my nose, I knew this was the one for me. Also something that doesn’t happen often, the Fries were awesome too! The seasoning was perfect! A couple other friends also had a Fish & Chips and Lasagna. Both were so-so, guess they excel much more with their burgers. Nice ambience, nice service, and nice food. Definitely a must try!

The Daily Grind had just opened the first time I went there with my sister. In kl, the moment a new restaurant opens up, the swarm of Instagram users is sure to be the first to go. Posting up pictures of their food and the fun time that they had at that particular place. Alas, my sister and I couldn’t handle any more of our Instagram feed being flooded by such pictures, we decided to go ourselves and see what the fuss is all about. We weren’t disappointed. I was surprised to see that there was a fully stocked bar at a burger joint. I thought as to the reason why and my qualms were soon answered when I thought of the name again. Very clever. We ordered our burgers and lapped in the surroundings while we waited. Needless to say, our burgers were amazing, the Instagram droids were right! The meat patties were fresh, the buns were soft, and lettuce was crunchy, again, amazing! Although it was situated on the lower ground floor, it was however facing the main street and to my surprise, got a lot of the natural lighting in. Major props to the interior designer. It was cute, comfortable and the food is to die for! A must try.

A burger diner that’s been serving up a slew of some of the fattest motherfuckers out there. I kid you not, these patties look like they need to enroll in fat camp. Intimidated was the word when my ‘Juicy Blusey Burger’(RM35) arrived, I stared at it for some time, figuring out how I would take that first bite. Stuffed with blue cheese and topped with sautéed mushrooms, I sent this bad boy to the gym and gobbled it down seconds. Everything from the bun to the patty was done just right, the bun was crisp and the patty was succulent. Immediately went into my ‘good list’. With such a consistent array of burgers at the helm, what has continually drawn me here is the menu. The choices are seemingly endless, with items such as the ‘Foie Gras burger’ and the ‘Downtown Tokyo burger’ the daily grind provides something new for everyone.
