Haagen Dazs

One of the best ice cream on planet Earth. I have been always a fan of Haagen Dazs ever since I got to know of this premium ice cream brand. One of my favourite is the all so boring vanilla flavour.
Whenever I get ice cream from Haagen Dazs, it always excites me to try the flavours they have.
However, when I went to the outlet at Bangsar Village, I felt there were very few flavours left. Probably most of them have been sold out, but I did checked the following week and it was still the same.
Well, the ice cream server was friendly and was more than willing to allow me to try all the remaining flavours without giving me a sour face.
I felt bad if I don;t take any, so I went with the green tea flavour. It was good as always. I did not want to dine at Haagen Dazs as they have an open concept store, sorry I do feel rather uncomfortable when people can see me. Nonetheless, other than the lack of flavours, I’d say Haagen Dazs is still one of the best ice cream I have tried.

Situated in an open area of Bangsar Village 2, it is a definite delight to sit and chill while enjoying your sundae.
The setting of the shop has got tons of sitting area and I remembered my friends and I stormed the place with 20 strong and they could easily accommodate us. Their service was great considering that 20 of us didn’t have problem with our orders and the staffs are friendly and nice.

A fat kid stuck in a tall, skinny body. Yes, that’s what the nice people behind the counter of Haagen Dazs thinks of me every time I go there for my usual strawberry cheesecake tub. I understand their confusion but let me assure you (and them) that I work out like crazy to make up for my fat kid syndrome
I have since bought three ice cream cakes from them (so good btw!!) and a couple thousand gallons worth of ice cream throughout the years. Cant really say no to Haagen Dazs can we? It’ll be a sin and I don’t plan on spending time in hell when I can stay in delicious, creamy, icy heaven.
I’ve also sat on one of their comfy sofas and ordered one of their sundaes with my nephew while we were out shopping one day. Im not really keen on sitting and eating inside shopping complex booths but tiny feet was getting tired and I was at a good stopping point anyways. And we both had quite a good time together. Leave it to Haagen Dazs to stress you out about your future life with kids, thank god they have ice cream to compensate for that.

The reason why it is so difficult to go to this place is because it takes at least 20 minutes to pick one taste of ice cream. And yes, most of the time you will end up picking 3– 4 different scoops, especially when you are testing them before buying.
They also offer cakes and combinations of different desserts, so be prepared. One thing I can tell you is that you will probably end up leaving around 20RM at this place, but it’s really worth it!
