Golden Break Snooker & Pool Club

One of the better pool halls in town.
Golden break boasts a huge number of pool tables that are up for rent almost 24 hours a day.
Some of the tables are in mediocre condition at best, so its always good to go during off peak periods to get the best tables. Same goes for the sticks.
In this particular outlet, ventilation is pretty good. The air is not too polluted with cigarette smoke and you wont leave smelling like you’ve been puffing away all night.
Golden break also serves beer and other refreshments at a reasonable rate, although I would question the cleanliness of the bar at times.
The staff here are extremely helpful and are always waiting to set up the balls for the next game.
Overall a good place to come and chill with your mates.

Golden Break at Taman Connaught is a small pool club with about seven or so tables and a mini bar at the far end. Upon entering the club, there is a rack of snooker cues for players to choose from. Most of the cues have the same length and weight. The only difference would the tip of the cues. Some looked more worn off than others. To my surprise, the hall wasn’t as smoky as I had imagined. In fact, I left the place with almost no cigarette smell on me. I am assuming it’s because the crowd that we were with didn’t smoke much. The workers are very helpful and would immediately come to aid whenever the white was potted into one of the pockets. They helped my friends and I get the ball out before we could even move to check the pockets. After a game was over, they would immediately collect the balls for us and put it back nicely into the triangle and arranged it for us to start our game. The price can be calculated on either by game or by hour — whichever seemed more beneficial, depending on skills.
