With slight differences interior wise from the outlet in Pavilion, this aesop outlet in bangsar village 2 has a rather different mood. I for sure prefer the amount of woods that they have used for the pavilion branch as this branch in bangsar village 2 gives you a more pinkish feeling. And yes, that does affect one’s emotion while shopping!
With samples of their different lotions placed in front of the shop, you will be attracted to the scent while passing by. I have always liked how soothing aesop’s products smell. The very same scent also always remind me to stock up again when I’m finishing my lotion.
The staff here are very friendly and i have always liked hanging out at bangsar area, so this branch in this way is more convenient for me. However, do note that finding a parking in bangsar is really a pain, you either pay for the mall parking rates — which you might still find it challenging to find a vacant spot, or you have to make rounds until you get one!

Aesop stores have always caught my attention because each of their store is designed differently and takes on an interesting concept. The first thing you notice is the hand lotion bottles placed outside each Aesop store, meant for people who want to get a glimpse of what they offer.
The store at BVII used to be just a makeshift stall near the bridge but they now have their own store designed to resemble the traditional kampung houses. The soothing baby pink colour is pleasing on the eyes and I love the smell of Aesop stores. They sells a variety of skincare to suit your needs but they also branch out into quirky items such as mouthwash and toilet care.
I really dislike sales assistants who follow me closely around the store but thankfully Aesop’s staff were attentive and informative but not pushy. In fact, after chatting to them about my skin concerns they gave me a few samples to try out. They’re generous with their samples so you don’t have to worry about being judged when you ask for samples. The staff will also demonstrate certain products on your hand while explaining the benefits as they have a basin fitted inside the store. Their products are not cheap so it’s best if you get some samples to try out first before committing.
