A great little coffee place in Shinjuku, very good quality coffee, rustic well appointed setting, serving coffee, tea as well as Danishes and other breakfast options. English menu. The best coffee we’ve had in the area & we tried all the major ones. Wish we found this place on day one.

Mediocre food comparable to Post-​Starbucks La Boulange. I needed an reliable yet affordable source of coffee beans to cold-​brew when I lived in Tokyo. I thought there would be coffee snobs in Japan ever since Blue Bottle opened in Omote Sando and BB’s coined term «Kyoto“Style Ice Coffee. Another stereotype I was trying to play into I guess, but eventually I found their chef’s blend after testing several single origins, the perfect candidate for cold brewing. 4-​Stars I’m a fan of their beans.
Coffee was good, but small hole-​in-​the-​wall coffee shops had really good iced coffee too, even Doutor had good ice coffee! The other Paul Bassett location in Shibuya has a little more of a selection but it’s double the price. A cup of coffee at the other location was 700 JPY but I suspect there was a cover charge.

Cute place with great cappuccino. I DO agree. Service is bad. They also made all of my group buy something. Claiming to sit there, we must order.
I kept my composure, drinks were cheap and the drinks were GOOD. So, I guess I can oblige.

We are used to Australian coffee latte and cappuccino and this is the only place we found so far making it the way we like. Most places make it Japanese style like a drip coffee so go here if you looking for the same!

Its good enough in Shinjuku where we looked everywhere for coffee as tourists. Its more bitter than usual but its still better than just instant coffee. Go if you need a coffee hit if in Shinjuku as a stop off.
