For me, this is the best specialist cheese shop in Tokyo. Located off the main street of lovely Kagurazaka, this shop is a nice place to stop by. Also, if you are ever craving that ripe whiff of cheese, be sure to make a detour at Alpage. They have a very large selection of cheeses, a nice selection of accompanying foods such as olives, dried fruits and crackers, as well as a small selection of wines and ciders. Focusing mainly on French cheeses, they also have a good selection of Italian and Spanish cheeses as well. Many sheep and goat milk cheeses which are notoriously hard to find in Tokyo are stocked here, which made me very happy. This is also one of the only places I have been able to purchase Crème fraîche, another hard to find commodity in Tokyo. You can buy cheese starting at 100gram units and credit cards are accepted for orders totaling more than 5000 yen. I come here way more than I should!
