We had a great time here, especially as a random try the second night in Tokyo. Basically our bare Japanese phrases and the chef’s limited english led to an interesting dinner. Maybe spent more than we executed but it was all good. We really enjoyed the chicken and washable even though the chef put on a non Japanese amount of washable, but that is ok and totally understandable. One funny thing was when we tried to order sake and he pulled out 8 different bottles. We finally settled on the one he likes which made the women next to us laugh like crazy as we think they said the name means«happiness is coming» which was so true! I could handle some of the chicken and wasabi right now. Ended up just asking for a variety of things and recommendations and got a ton of meat. Basically we told the chef what you recommend and a variety of things lets try. The beaf and chicken were the best the pork was a bit forgettable. But overall we had a fun time, eat some interesting things. The facilitating bit was how everyone else was eating more western type things here(pasta, and salads, etc). But this was one of those truths we found in Tokyo, you can pretty much pick any place randomly and have a great time and tasty food.
