I happened to find this cute little café when I was looking for a branch place with my husband and friend. And we all loved this place. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. There are books and magazines in the café so you can pick one up and take a look. They have branch sets. We ordered pork hamburg with gambo sauce and artichoke lasagna(both 1030yen). They both came with rye bread or rice(your choice) and little salads. You could have drink set(+190yen) and desert set(+290yen) with it. Drink choices are hot/ice tea, hot/ice coffee and hot/ice herbal rose tea. Desert choices are Panna cotta, Mango pudding with coconut ice cream and one more thing(sorry I forgot!). I loved their coconut ice cream! Worth trying if you like coconut. Their service was okay. We got there right before noon on a Sunday but there are lots of empty tables. But if you are worried about not getting a table, they will take a reservation on weekdays. * some people mixed up this place with their cooking studio/book store. They both have the word ‘cookcoop’ on their name so be aware of that. Here’s the link of the cooking studio.

I had time before check in so I strolled around the city. This little blue building looked really nice so I went in. Very small store of cookbooks, aprons, a few kitchen goods, and two different cookies. The nice sized kitchen used for cooking classes was nice. Many of the cooking classes I see in Tokyo look really industrial. This one was the opposite of that and felt very comfortable. I’d cook in there daily if it were my kitchen. That’s why I gave them 5 stars. Well, also cause they had the right kind of cookbooks, ones that I just had to buy. Also, the biscotti I bought cause it was one of two choices, was seriously awesome. This place is walking distance from the New Otani Hotel. If you’re ever in town and you like quaint little cookbook/cooking class/limited treat shops, stop by.
