Nice bar near Harajuku with a great craft beer selection, leaning towards IPA’s. Very English friendly, as the entire place is done up to look like a bar you might find in Portland, complete with local Portland magazines. Great place to stop if you are sick of the Lager hegemony of Japan.

Beer is amazing! I ordered the Lompoc Saison d’Evolution. It was the best.
Ambiance: Chill, modern, hipster, Portland feeling.
Location: A bit out of the way, but still close enough to walk to from Shibuya station. Definitely worth he walk.
Service: Friendly
Free wifi here too! What more can you ask for?!

PDX is the airport code to travel to Portland, Oregon In the United States. It’s located on the second floor. Look for the grey stairs to get up here.
PDX very much looks hipster that’s reminiscent of Portland and even many gastropubs in Los Angeles.
Beer:
Lompoc Saison d’evolution was very light but flavorful.
Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar — it’s actually not sweet. It reminds me of a Newcastle with a nice hazelnut finish. I’m a huge fan of hazelnut so this beer was awesome.

Nice beer bar with. Good selection of beers from Portland, Oregon.
Food reminded very much of being back in the USA.
Interior is small, but warm and the staff are very accommodating. Definitely a recommended detour for a beer run.

I actually had no idea what makes Portland beer so famous and its taste before I visited on UYE. However, the owner explained the tips of the answer (you can ask her by yourself, then she will tell).
Anyway, I’d never seen or heard any of their beer, there’s explanation though, I usually tell servers what kind beer I usually like and try similar flavor because I believe it’s simplest and best way to know something new and avoid unexpected mistake. Thanks for his help, all three kinds (one pint and two halves) I ordered at the night were pretty good.
Another good thing was their (bar) food. I almost cried when I saw hummus, buffalo wings, and even potato, they were all tasty and reminded me the US a lot. I wish I could watch NFL games here.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Interesting choice of beers. Only thing i didnt like was nothing on the menu for non beer drinkers who are along for the ride. Otherwise, pretty cool place!
