This is a sandwich-café type of place located in Daikanyama, run by a British owner. There’s a bunch of different sandwiches with a variety of fillings and breads. I get a feeling that this place would be rated much higher by non-Japanese customers than Japanese ones, considering its portion, taste, and the balance between bread and fillings. To me, it’s a bit too much of bread, although it’s very filling and makes you excited to take a bite when served. It is true that we don’t have too many sandwich places in Tokyo, so if you are a sandwich freak you’d probably end up keeping coming to this place. It’s pretty good over all and the place is very casual so you can just walk in for lunch/mid-afternoon snack.

I wanted to really loved this place, but my tuna melt was mediocre. It had a thin layer of tuna with very few tasteless black olives. Staff that we interacted with weren’t very familiar with what’s in their sandwiches… Oh well, I’m glad that we tried once.

Overrated sandwiches with slow service — I know a decent sandwich is a rare found thing in Tokyo however there is no need to resort to King George. Generally overpriced. The 3rd floor roof terrace is lovely however hence the two stars.
