As a lover of all food Mexican, I had to try Salsita. Let me start by saying the guacamole was very, very good. After the guacamole we had almost a ceviche, with shrimp, avocado, cilantro, and onions. Those were all so good that we quickly ate them and patiently awaited our enchiladas. That was where The excitement ended. The red enchilada sauce tasted like pasta sauce and that does not mix well with enchiladas. And when I say it tasted like pasta sauce, I should just simply say that it tasted like tomato sauce. The verde sauce had a sweet taste to it that also was not appealing with the enchiladas. I think it is evident with my reviews that I like to have a good drink. I enjoyed the margaritas, but they definitely were not even regular margarita size. Just a little bit bigger glass would have helped. Now, I’m an optimist, so I may go back. I just know that the enchiladas weren’t for me, or any of the other three people that were with me.

Have never been disappointed here. Great drinks, great food, great atmosphere. Would particularly recommend the pibil(meat stuffed in banana leaves) and the yucatan soup. Also the chorizo quesadillas and the zucchini pudding thing. Try margaritas in any flavor or il submarino.

One of the better mexican places in Tokyo. It’s too small though and always crowded do reserve a table. I really enjoyed the food here and I can’t wait to go back! Really good chips and guacamole!

At first glance at the restaurant, you won’t be impressed. In fact, like me, you might be expecting the worst. However, despite it’s somewhat shabby exterior I was most pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the food! Quite a diverse menu, pleasant service and tasty food. I don’t usually eat pork, but my favorite dish here is their banana leaf wrapped adobo pork. Mmm! The flavorful meat just melts in your mouth. I recommend coming as a group and ordering dishes(and a margarita pitcher or two) to share. It’s much more fun with a lovely group — plus, you get to try all the tasty dishes!
