This store was alright, had some good selections. I really wanted to see more Japanese stuff. Left there kind of disappointed from the lack of bentos. 7 – 11 had a much better selection.

Convenient international grocery store. They also have stationary, books, goodies and more on the second floor. If you live in the neighborhood they offer home delivery which is really convenient! They have parking for cars and bikes, and you will be able to purchase a real Christmas tree!

Really impressed with the selection of goods imported from around the world, and particularly the U.S. Yes, some prices are ridiculously expensive but I wasn’t surprised by that. The store is smaller than I expected so navigating small aisles when it’s crowded on a weekend can be tricky. Kudos to them for having a nursing room with a diaper changing station!

Speaking of National Azabu, it occurred to me that: 1) Sign up for free membership points card and get coupon postcard monthly! Since national azabu is well-known as its various range of imported grocery and a bit expensive, this coupon saves a lot! What’s more, you get 2 points per 200 yen purchase, and get 500 yen coupon after you accumulate 500 points. Also check the triple points day on your coupon postcard! 2) If you are in a hurry + buying items within 10 + paying in cash, use the speedy register counter at the service counter! I use this counter very often, fast and good service. They also have many other convenient service, like home delivery, seasonal events, seasonal goods sale(2nd fl household grocery), etc. Check out their website and find more!

One of the best super markets for acquiring imported and hard to find items in Japan. Plus, I think its the only location where you can buy/make fresh peanut butter and almond butter! It’s quite a treat to be able to open a pack of peanuts, feed it to the machine and see the healthy and fresh peanut butter(only peanuts!!) emerge. You’ll see lots of foreigners at this super market and the price point is higher than average — buy your hard to find items here, but choose your local supermarket for the ever day stuff. Great place to come if you’re looking for some Fage Greek Yogurt(warning, the price may cause you to gasp), imported cheese or have a sudden craving for Nutella or S’mores.
