If you are visiting Japan and looking for a traditional western breakfast spot then I would highly recommend Lauderdale! The staff speak very good English and the food is delicious. We had the eggs benedict, pancakes, and some soup(can’t remember what it was exactly). They also provide blankets for the guest so that you can cover your legs if you get cold– this was a much appreciated touch!

Dropped in for a pre-workout coffee. Must come back to try breakfast next time. English menus, English speaking staff, no wait!

A great place for breakfast! Of course, it has a local flair; this isn’t your Western-neighborhood breakfast place. But the dishes are relatively familiar, well-prepared, and it is a pleasant place to dine. Especially for breakfast /brunch! Special note: we left an iPhone on the table, and a staffer ran a block after us to return it. It’s a great destination place, especially if you’re headed to the Mori and walking from south of 412.

Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and were seated after a short wait. I like the feel of the place and it is very kiddie and baby friendly. I ordered the salmon and bacon eggs Benedict. I assumed the salmon and bacon would be combined but only one was on each of the muffins so that was a small surprise. Hubby ordered pancakes and they were tasty. Nice spot that we’ll return to.

Lauderdale, located just seconds from Roppongi Hills is a great place for anyone staying at the nearby Grand Hyatt Hotel. The bistro cafes specialty is the souffles, ranging from Apple Cinnamon to Salmon ‘n Spinach. The venue opens from 7am, and has patrons throughout the day ordering everything from buttermilk pancakes and omelets in the morning, burgers, salads and falafel during lunch and steak with red wine butter sauce served during dinner. The croissants are very tasty. Lunch starts from 1,000 Yen, which comes with soup and a choice of drink. Get free-refills on coffee, which is quite a rarity in Tokyo. Beer from 500 Yen, cocktail from 600 Yen, wine from 700 Yen. The venue also offers around 30 bottles of wine starting from 3,800 Yen. Terrace seats available during warmer seasons. Free Wi-Fi. Non-smoking except at bar counter.

This is a nice place in Roppongi for brunch. I like the ambiance and the service and food are okay. They are always packed, so I recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends. I’ve had their eggs benedict and pancakes, both okay but not amazing, and their quiche(salmon, full of veggies) and clam chowder(a bit bland). I also had their burger a while back but I don’t really remember it. If you go for brunch and order a set, you can choose two sides. I remember enjoying the falafels. All in all an okay place for brunch.

Pancakes… Yum. Asai Bowl… Healthiest breakfast in Tokyo. Atmosphere… Wonderful.

One of the more popular brunch/lunch locations for wealthy Tokyoites. It is located on an attractive corner, at the intersection of Keyakizaka and Sakurazaka(near LV store); there is an outdoor seating area that is always crowded so be prepared to wait or book ahead. As for the cuisine: it is good, not great. Try the pancakes or the eggs benedict, they are pretty good. Definitely a place more for the ambience and the scene, however, than the food. I have only been once for dinner — had steak frites and it was OK without being amazing.

This is a good place if you’re craving the kind of burgers and fries you’d find in American chain restaurants like Applebee’s or TGIFridays. They couldn’t help making their sides slightly weird(read:Tokyo-fancy) but the burger was solid. The attractive outdoor seating was a huge plus.
