Our waitress made a mistake and got the different ingredients(got chicken instead of fish topping) and no time for us to order another one and we got full so I said it’s ok and she just charge as is. Maybe an language barrier? Or different custom. I’ve seen the same mistakes in USA and we usually get no charge or discount on the wrong ordered item, I may avoid this place. Food was ok, but not for this service. To be fair, this was happened in Dec 2015…

Tasty Kushiyaki, meat on a skewer, in Comfortable Seating. This is a great restaurant to eat anytime. I would go to Roppongi Hills just to eat here. I went with a Japanese friend who commented that it was a different type of Japanese restaurant. We ordered the various Kushiyaki and yakitori choices on the menu. We were lucky because we were seated right next to the grill. Besides the interesting grill view was that the grill is covered in glass so no smoke on my clothes. Best was that the chef only had to reach around the corner to pass us our grilled Kushiyaki. I recommend any of the pork choices on the menu. The spices used matched really well with the pork, most likely a great combination with the fat of the pork. Service was excellent and the wait staff made sure to pass by frequently to check in on us and always with enthusiasm and a courteous smile and approach, to be expected in Tokyo. Check the layout of this restaurant. It is well designed. The seating is very comfortable. There are party rooms, with semi privacy, large accommodating booths for families or groups, larger shared table in the middle, tables for 4 or 2 and individual seating at the various prep stations. So, you can eat here as a couple, small family, large group and great for solo travelers! So don’t be shy to eat here. The location is squirreled away in one of the lower levels of Roppongi Hills, so don’t despair to locate this great restaurant. And the music played was very interesting, not too loud yet not too low and my friend and I would occasionally try to identify the music mix. Price is moderate. 2 people with beer and plenty of Kushiyaki, Yakitori and pickles, no dessert, came in at about $ 50…can you find all this in Manhattan New York?
