HUGE park with lots to do! We bring our dog to the dog park here, which is pretty large for a dog park close to the city. My parents brought me here when I was little, and I remember being intrigued by the vast grassland and hills that sloped around the park. I would spend hours and hours on weekends, running in and out of small holes and«secret passages»(visible from the parents), and bursting through winding narrow roads surrounded by tall bushes. Koganei park was my favorite amusement park in my childhood. And guess what, parents? ITSFREE!!! Except for(quite) a few things. 1) the dog park. In Japan, a lot of the dog parks are privately owned or the owner must have a license to enter the dog park. The people and system to register your dog here are very inefficient. There’s no saying how long it’ll take to register your dog, but I can guarantee you that it’ll take a long time. 2) the hammocks. I don’t know how long or how much it is but I’m pretty sure you have to pay 3) borrowing the BBQ space and/or equipment. Etc. –1for the annoying system to register dogs to the park. But otherwise, its a wonderful place to spend your weekend, whether it be walking your dog, having a picnic, exercising, or relaxing with your family!
