This place is adorable and located just above set of stairs. They play smooth jazz music in a compact yet lovely environment. This place is perfect for getting uni from all around the world. Prices range from $ 10 per piece and upwards. I’d highly recommend it for a local showings and breakfast with an English menu.

This place was recommended by a friend who said it was more a local joint for those who breakfast on fish near the market that dont want to get trapped at SushiDai or Daiwa. It’s a totally small counter and on a rare off day for the market, we were here with two other Japanese ladies sitting in the corner. We ordered a five piece set, some toro and a couple beers. Im pretty sure as one of the grouchier looking chefs was preparing our nigiri the word gaijin was uttered. Well it cant be the two ladies so were they referring to us? I wear at title proudly regardless! As i was eating my spread and demonstrating proper old school technique, the other non grouchy guy nodded and smiled. Approval from one, grumpycat from the other. I guess it’s a win. Various tuna, uni and ebi for around 1500 yen? A steal for the quality, and great price performance value.
