Recommend a relaxed place to chat with a friend, although I went by myself. Very quaint place. Not a tea expert but I love to experiment. Has an extensive tea selection with short descriptions(if you can parle un petite francais). The ice cream cake I had along with it was perfect. Was tempted to buy some tea to brew at home, but unless you’re a connoisseur, I think half the fun of tea is where you drink it.

I will highly recommend to tea lover! There are so many selections to choose from. If you like the fruits flavor, please try Marco polo. You can also try the tea lounge. Between 2 – 4 pm is busiest time. Good customer service and nice atmosphere. You won’t get refill but you will get the good amount of tea to spend the time with friend;)

If you desire delicious tea and a light French lunch at the same time, this is the place you should go. Mariage Frères is well known as maison de the à Paris, probably not only in EU. I rather tended to have coffee than tea when I was in Paris. Of course I was aware of Mariage Frere, I’ve enjoyed tea in the salon several times though I didn’t know they served food. The real benefit of having a meal in Ginza was I could savor the wonderful taste of tea throughout the lunch course. I enjoy substantial beverage during having meal though commonly most restaurants serve a tea or coffee after eating. The type of tea for each lunch course is selected to suit the main dish. Also they use tea in the sauce of the fish or meat! They have fantastic French menu to say nothing of tea. Considering the quality and great service, it’s a very reasonable price. Certainly it’s a cozy place if you want to savor awesome tea and dessert in afternoon.
