PCM– an ideal after work gathering spot in a great location. Pub Cardinal Marunouchi makes great use of both indoor and outdoor seating. Protected by the building design, the overhang allows for year ’round terrace access except for the coldest nights or when a typhoon sweeps through Tokyo. Inside, PCM offers a bit of a cross-over strategy by catering to the Tachi-nomi crowd with the stand up tables in the entrance area. Situated in back, and at ¥500/per seat, you can sit at a nice table and order dinner. Food? Not bad. Couple of good salads on the menu, a bit of meat, and lots of tapa type things. There’s a DJ in the house and the music contributes to the onset of a good vibe as the evening progresses. Happy hour: ¥500 drinks and cheap eats. Staff: great people, good English. Appear to enjoy working there.
