After taking a cab from the camera store over to Ginza Lion, my husband realized that he needed to go back in order to pick up a second box, and my feet were two sore to do the trek. I looked for a place I could wait for him and drink a quick beer, and Pub Cardinal fit my requirements. The bar area is beautifully decorated and the chairs are covered in plush velvet. First of all, the beer is pretty expensive here. I got used to the fairly high prices over our time in Tokyo, but this was probably the most expensive I’d had. Maybe they charge you extra considering you get to drink it out of a beautiful copper mug. These cups would be stolen immediately if this bar were in the US. The bartender was friendly and helpful, and it ended up being a really nice place for a short break while wandering through Ginza.
