Tucked away in the basement of the Tokyo Station Hotel, this restaurant certainly deserves a bit more visibility(and light). The cuisine here is touted to be a fusion of authentic Cantonese and seasonal Japanese ingredients. Indeed, there were hints of true Cantonese taste(dried octopus broth, dried scallop chilli sauce, steam fish fillet with superior soy sauce and almond tofu without the artificial flavours, etc.) In view of the relatively higher prices(set menus ranging from around 12,000 yen), it is not a place to go for your«causal Chinese dinner» night. With its curved booth seats and atmospheric lighting, it’s more of a «date night» kind of place(and also if you’re treating your parents as the clientele since to be of the older demographics).
