Very very solid buffet. Note, I say buffet. It won’t compete with the best traditional restaurants, but can’t think of many better buffets. Thus, it deserves 5 stars. The variety is outrageous! They have everything!

Traditional Christmas Log — this made with a delicate sponge and velvety smooth coffee cream. This will go down a treat with everyone. Buy one for your gathering with friends, cheers!!!

J’ai été sur les recommandations d’une amie et je n’ai pas été déçue.
Je vous conseille de réserver au préalable car c’est souvent complet.
Ensuite prévoyez un estomac vide et une journée libre. Prenez votre temps pour déguster ce qu’il y a.
Le buffet a volonté est de qualité, il y a des fruits de mer frais également. Vous verrez le buffet est assez gargantuesque. Il y a divers stands de nourritures: indien, italien, malaysien, cantonais, japonais… Et pour finir, le stand des desserts est magnifique et surtout délicieux, il y a des mignardises et des crêpes et également des glaces Haägen Dasz.
À la fin, vous pourrez prendre des bonbons, ils vous fournissent une boîte pour cela.
Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. L’endroit est propre et il y a une bonne odeur de parfum typique du Shangri-​la.
Conclusion: vraiment recommandé! Venez les yeux fermés. Profitez de votre repas!

This is the best Las Vegas style mega buffet in Hong Kong. Except for the beef steak, all the other food they serve there is top notch. Chinese steak is not as good as American steak. It is much chewier. They did not source their beef steaks from the States. The buffet is so huge that there’s always something here for everyone. No other place in Hong Kong serves lobster, salmon sashimi, smoked salmon, hand tossed salad made to order, pan seared steak made to order, fish ball flat rice noodle made to order, chicken satay, chicken curry, tomato soup, potato cream, fresh shrimp, ice cream with fresh fruit crêpe made to order, fresh tropical fruit and 10 different desserts at the same meal!
Their customer service is impeccalbe. For example, once, I ate some clams that I thought weren’t all that fresh. I told the bus boy to take it away and told him why. Most bus boys at most restaurants don’t care and/​or don’t speak any English so it doesn’t matter if you tell them. Well, to my surprise, the manager personally brings out a fresh plate of clams that were very good and apologized for the last plate of clams. The lowest common denominator (the bus boy) spoke English and cared enough to tell his manager. The restaurant is also very clean and classy.
If your stomach is a bottomless pit, then I suggest that you come here. This buffet rivals the best buffets in Las Vegas. It’s THAT good!

Café Kool is an upscale buffet restaurant located in Kowloon Shangri-​La Hotel. This buffet offers guests a grand selection of International cuisines, from Western to Indian dishes. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will see a beautiful and spacious lobby with live entertainment for hotel guests. The buffet is located on the mezzanine level which overlooks the lobby through a glass window. Inside the buffet are six large kitchen stations offering an abundance of fresh dishes ready to be served.
We dined at Café Kool with our friends who came down from Shenzhen to visit us in Hong Kong. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to catch up over a delicious meal. One of the stations which had gotten us all excited was the seafood station. They had the freshest lobster and crab legs, along with the beautiful assortment of sushi that was prepared. We made sure not to fill up on one particular cuisine so that we had the chance to try a little bit of everything from all the six stations. One of the chefs came out to greet me and was kind enough to show me around to the different stations and explain what some of the dishes were. He even suggested several dishes for me to try including coconut chicken soup and beef rib, which were both very delicious.
The dessert station was also plentiful with a great assortment of cakes, pastries, fruits and more. They had two beautiful fondue stands serving milk and white chocolate, along with some dessert on skewers to dip with. Their ice cream selection included many different flavours and they were all made from Haagen-​Dazs. We enjoyed our dessert with a nice cup of hot brewed coffee.
By the end of our meal, we were all full and very satisfied. We had a pleasurable experience at Café Kool from the lovely food to the great service. Although the price per person is quite expensive, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a buffet restaurant offering great quality and a wide selection of different authentic cuisines.

Love the big dining hall and variety of food selections! Especially the fresh seafood station! Also their staff are so friendly, helpful and attentive!
