The Greenery

This is one of my favorite buffet places. Elegant, comfortable seating in their open atrium. Food is delicious, and they offer discount coupons, making weekday lunch buffet about $ 120 pp. You are hard pressed to find better quality of food at this price.
They have a small sushi counter where they slice the sashimi to order. Not a lot of selection, but good quality.
They usually have two soups, a Western one like minestrone or cream of something, and a Chinese «old fire» soup, which I usually get a bowl or two. The rest of the buffet is a similarly myriad of Asian and western dishes. Steamed fish, grilled fish, smoked salmon, potato au gratin, stir fried vegetables, salad, snow crab, shrimp, mussels, dim sum. There is a pasta station, a carving station, a yakitori station (the beef tongue skewer is especially tasty and tender), a Chinese BBQ station (don’t miss out their famous Hainan chicken, which is very tender and flavorful), and more. In short, there is something for everybody, so when I bring my parents along, everybody is happy and full.
I love, love, love their dessert station. They make crêpe to order (with regular batter and a pandan flavored one!), they serve Haagen Dazs ice cream, there is fresh fruits, a cake case with green tea mochi, mango cheesecake, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, flan, cheesecake, coffee jelly… and it’s serviced, so the dessert looks fresh and pretty till the end… I always try to save room for dessert but I never have enough room!
Service deserves a mention too. They will give you chair cover for your jacket, help my aged father in and out of his chair, and when I called to reserve they very clearly let me know if they are charging more for a holiday, and that I can’t use my coupon, when they could just don’t ask don’t tell and let me pay more.
