Let me say that I am biassed in reviewing this restaurant, biassed because I am a New Yorker and have frequented many of the best Sushi establishment in this great City. Therefore, I am reviewing Sumo as a New Yorker, not as a Dutchie.
Sumo is an establishment that is big on ambience, (somewhat similar to Tao in midtown) but needs to decide if it wants to be known for quality Sushi or just your run of the mill Sushi establishment. At this moment, the dishes that were offered can only be described as basic. Basic being: High on over-​packing with Rice and over salting dishes.
Albeit… The wait staff was very nice.

If you are up for amazing sushi this is where you should go! No doubts!
We ordered the buffet. You get 5 rounds of sushi and you can choose 5 different pieces each round. You can choose everything from the menu.
This is some of the best sushi I have ever tasted!
When you walk into the restaurant it is like stepping in to China. Everything was pink — pink trees, pink chairs and couches and big chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
