Felicia

WOW is basically what I have to say about Felicia — a theatre of flavours — the newest hotspot in the heart of Amsterdam, located inside the former A.U.B. ticketshop at the Stadschouwburg.
Embracing the ever-​growing concept of multi space, Felicia is operated by four different food and drinks businesses: The Coffeevine, Glacier Fou, Myrthe’s Delight, and Aloha Juice Company.
/​/​The Coffeevine
I had already had the opportunity of trying The Coffevine’s selection at De Hallen, but now they’ve opened the very first filter coffee bar of the city. Three monthly changing coffees from different roasters are offered in three brewing methods: Aeropress, V60 & Clever, and all coffees (hot or cold) are € 3,50 each. My husband and I tried the cold brew of the month, and a Costa Rica coffee (V60), both exquisite.
/​/​Glacier Fou
Molecular ice cream magic happening in front of your eyes — all made possible by liquid nitrogen! This was seriously amazing, I’m still astonished by the process and by the flavours. Each month, Glacier Fou offers four different flavour combinations. In July it was Hairloom Harvest (aspargus + caryenne pepper bacon), Dutch Golden Glory (caramel stout beer + spelt apple nuts cake), Rhubarb Spring Blossom (crème fraîche + rhubarb compote + meringue), and Vegan Loves You More (banana + rice-​cononut milk + mango-​coconut chips).
We’ve tried the first three options and they were seriously impressive. I loooooved the cayenne bacon (the aspargus flavour is very mild, which is good I think), the citric sweetness of the rhubarb, and the kick of the stout beer (it was like drinking creamy ice-​cold beer, so refreshing!).
/​/​Myrthe’s Delight
Healthy and fresh fruit sorbets. I did not try those this (I was too busy going nuts for the molecular craziness) but they looked incredible.

Cold-​pressed juices and smoothies. I also have not tried those yet, but I will be back for a taste.
Felicia has been open for 6 weeks now, so make sure you stop by to get to know the new space. The opening hours are a bit crazy:
