Nice staff, but they were out of salmon(a major component in many of their dishes) when I arrived, so the staff lazily notified my friends and me that they would be unable to make any of the dishes that included salmon. After begging, they reluctantly agreed to make me their eggs Benedict dish without the salmon. The dish turned out to be delicious and refreshing especially with their orange juice. Great vibe, very clean and healthy with good music!

No people, this is not health food, and it is strictly for tourists. I came here by accident with my mom after an afternoon at the Rijksmuseum, where the cafeteria is permanently overcrowded. Misled by the«health» claim, we found ourselves in, well, a French gay bar from the 1950s? A mishmash of color and frills and mirrors and larger than life close ups of the owner, Dutch singer Gordon. The cheesecakes and Amsterdam style Apple pie, whatever that may be, looked yummy, definitely not healthy. Slices were all very different in size though, really unprofessional. The whole place seemed mismanaged, with exhausted waiters, and everything is overpriced, even for this neighborhood.

Amidst all the(undeniably yummy) junk food that we’ve been gorging our faces with came the chicken pesto panini and blushing hot chocolate. The chicken pesto panini is simple in its ingredients and its mouthwatering deliciousness! Everything is made with high quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. A must try when in Amsterdam. p. s. one star was dropped by A’s anger at the ‘Justin Bieber Hour’ section of the menu!

Friendly, but painfully slow and overpriced. I went here a few times, hoping that it would improve, but they can’t make a proper flat white to save their lives. It was a cup of foam each time, which is quite the opposite of what it should be. It also took a long time, the servers were more interested in their own conversations than the line of customers, and the price was almost 4EUR for a small and bad cup of coffee. Sorry Blushing, you need to improve. The location is great, use it wisely.

A great place to go after a nice afternoon at the Van Gogh Museum! Blushing is just across the street and open until 6. My friend and I had no trouble finding a table, and enjoyed a delicious butternut squash soup, some coffee, and I had a cheesecake. The coffee was solid, the soup — delicious and a healthy portion — and the cheesecake was ok. Nothing amazing but I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was casual with many small tables and — a strange recommendation, I know — do check out the wallpaper! Its a compilation of different movie stars from different eras enjoying coffee. It was actually pretty fun to go through all the photos and see who is pictured!

Nice terrace on a pedestrian street and nice café inside. Deco is a bit bling and gloomy but nice nevertheless. Food was very nice, salads are great and there are amazing cakes on display. Coffee is good too. Minuses: a bit overpriced, order and payment is at the bar upfront(for the prices, service should be at the table) and inside tables are squeezed.

Came here for lunch(last meal in Europe before heading back to the States). Really glad I did. Had the Kinky Quinoa Salad with Tuna and the Salmon Toast. Both were super fresh and delicious. Prices were not bad at all either. Would definetly come back on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Great place hidden next to the Van Gogh museum. super cute décor and really good Dutch food. Not to mention their lattes were amazing and they also have a justin bieber happy hour. A sit down place to grab a bite to eat. I would def come here again

We went here on a Sunday afternoon, it was really busy and noisy but we sat outside and that was lovely The inside decoration is cute tho The food is good and healthy Nevertheless the waitress I had to deal with looked really annoyed by my questions and was really rude. My French credit card didn’t work at the first time and she took it without my permission to try again without listening what I was saying I’m really disappointed by her behavior I hope not all the staff is like this girl…

What a great new place in Amsterdam! Fish cakes were fabulous, just the right combination of tender, delicious and crunchy. You absolutely owe it to yourself to order Psalm50 on of their signature open-face sandwiches. Super fresh salmon, rocket lettuce and other goodness. Order and pay first then get an outside table!

One word — delicious! We have been here for a few days and have been searching for a place for breakfast in Museumplein. We didn’t enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and wanted something nearby, and are thrilled that Blushing just opened. The menu has lots of good options — healthy choices with fresh ingredients like an open omelette with feta, broccoli and peas, scrambled eggs with salmon, and eggs royale. They also have great coffee and baked goods. The décor is chic with outdoor seating available. Blushing also serves lunch and has several salad options. They are in a great location near several museums. Service was quick, polite and efficient. We will return tomorrow morning.
