A good standard option in the area. Small restaurant, and have meal set choices. I went with a plat of a savory crêpe with ham and cheese and a simple sugar crêpe for dessert. Extra star for the nice service.

My wife and I revisited this quaint and small bistro/café for dinner a few days ago. We discovered Café Med last year while staying on Ile St. Louis. We love the ambience of this small venue… especially our favorite wait person: Bilge(Bil-gay). The really remarkable thing is that when we returned a couple of days ago, she remembered us from last year. That is something special ! The food is typical French bistro fare and quite good… The prices are extremely attractive. They have a 13.90 menu for dinner as well as an upscaled one for 19.90 euro. There are terrific choices on both of them. We will return in a few days. If you are lucky enough to get Bilge… or Angelique(another wonderful wait person)…your meal can’t be anything but completely enjoyable.

Café Med is a great option on Ile Saint Louis. If you are tired and hungry after visiting Notre Dame, bypass the sandwiches on the street that have been sitting out all day and come find this spot! It is a little place just off St Louis Street. Especially if you go for lunch it is really a good deal. We found several places that prices for dinner for the same items. Here you can order off a nice a pre-fixe menu for under e15 and add house wine for a few euros. I tried some nice salad and risotto and smoked salmon linguine and wine and a chocolate crêpe! All really tasty! I highly recommend this place for the budget conscious traveller who wants to enjoy a nice sit-down meal. The service was good and friendly… Just sit back and enjoy the multiple courses and slower pace!

Our first meal in Paris was at Café Med. It is a very small spot but we came just after 6:45 pm when they opened for dinner so we were seated on arrival. The prices are quite affordable with three course meals for either 13.50 or 19.50 €. We both had the lower priced option so we got to try a good portion of the menu. Items that stuck out were the creamy mushroom Rissoto and the salmon pasta dish. Each meal rightfully ends with dessert and we had the ice cream and chocolate crêpe. Very nice dark chocolate on the crêpe and the coffee and pistachio ice cream had a very bold yummy taste. Café Med is a very solid option on Ile St. Louis!

We had two excellent meals here in the last few years. Nice French food and small cozy place. Will be back for sure.

I liked this place a lot. I ordered from the set menu and got ham, cheese, and egg crêpe(even though they didn’t call it a crêpe) with ice cream as dessert. The crêpe was very good, with lots of ham and cheese. The ice cream was the best part though. You get 3 scoops and you can choose from three flavours(vanilla, chocolate, and coffee). I got one of each flavour. The vanilla was made from real vanilla and was the best one of all. The waitress was extremely nice and very fast with the orders. The menu outside is in French but they do have an English menu inside.

3.5 stars Came here for lunch and had a satisfying meal. Wasn’t amazing, but the food was good and the prices were very affordable. We all opted for the multi-course menu. The salads and pastas were average. The tuna starter honestly looked like a glorified serving of cat food, but tasted fine. My quiche was pretty good for being just a plain cheese quiche. The crepes were very tasty. We tried both sweet and savory. The savory crêpe had a fried egg, cheese, and caramelized onions. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate and almond crêpe with vanilla ice cream. Delish! The restaurant itself is cozy has a quaint atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. If you’re strolling around Ile Saint-Louis, Café Med is worth a try.

if you want to see the picturesquely charming yet antique parisian neighborhood, come to ile st. louis by crossing over the bridge from notre dame. this romantic and peaceful island is less filled with tourists than other parts of paris, surprisingly. after climbing up the 400 steps of notre dame tower, we needed to rest our legs as well as refuel our stomachs and minds for more afternoon adventures. we picked café med since it featured very reasonably priced daily special(10 euros for 3 course lunch is THE best deal in this town), and was filled with residents, families and business people. there was no english menu, but one of the waitresses explained each dish as carefully and precisely as she could in decent english. i ordered a quiche, penne in pomodoro sauce and apple sauce as dessert and the hubby got a vegetable soup, mushroom risotto and sweet crêpe. while it wasn’t the best meal we had, everything was fresh, flavorful and comforting. the quiche was especially memorable since i never had one quite that great in the states. in europe, lunch is such a dynamic fare. conversations are flowing in loud voices amidst wine bottles for hours, and coffee seems to be a requirement to end a meal. we didn’t partake in any of those rituals(i can’t do alcohol and the hubby can’t do caffeine… what an awesome duo!), but we did feel our bodies and minds rejuvenating just by sitting in this cozy, lively restaurant.

On a déjà vu mieux…
