Hidden Gem in Downtown Zeeland!
Right downtown, next to the new Zeeland Splash Pad, across the street from the new frozen yogurt shop, just down from the Zeeland’s well stocked candy store, is the best toy shop for kids of all ages.
If you need a gift for a birthday, come here. Melissa & Doug, Lego, Thomas the Tank Engine, board games, and things I always thought you could only get on Amazon, they are all here in the heart downtown Zeeland.
Does your kid watch VAT19 on YouTube & constantly ask for the products? Chances are you can buy them here.
And — It gets better! Out of The Box houses a GIGANTIC (seriously — its humongous) board game library in the back. Rent a board game for one week, only $ 5. OR — play it there in the game room, for free! Perfect for sleepovers, family game night, family visits, holidays, rainy day fun, etc.
Thursday’s 6:30-ish to 7, is the weekly game night at Out of The Box. Meet other people who like board games, and maybe learn to play something new. Word is, the Thursday Night Game Nights at Out of the Box, don’t end until as late as 4am. (I know, who knew?)
There is also a monthly «First Friday» game night, if Thursday doesn’t work for you. This seems more likely to run until 4am.
This is a geeks dream! Always wondered about those $ 60 board games? Me, too! Now you can play them before you buy them.
Drinks & snacks are sold in the Game Room Lounge, which houses the game library, the the restrooms, a seating area & Foosball Table. A large room off this lounge is the Game room that has over 10 tables & chairs to play games on, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK! For free!
You must stop in this awesome store & plan to hang out a little bit, you will be glad you did. Downtown Zeeland is becoming a great place for kids!
